...Show More Authors

This research seeks through the adoption of two basic variables, where he considered the actuarial experience as an independent variable, while the process of accepting the risk and dimensions related to it is a dependent variable, the research was adopted to present the data achieved by the company during the life insurance business during the adoption of actuarial experience at the beginning of its work where Adoption of the historical method in the analysis of those data to prove the researcher's opinion, through the analysis of data (5 years) for the first period, which extends between (1975-1979), the period during which the company adopted the actuarial experience at the time, also taken data for the same dimensions related to the process of acceptance etc. During the period and analysis for the second period, it is also (5 years) related to the second period between the years (2013-2017) in which the company did not adopt the actuarial experience in its business, where the level of decline in the acceptance of individual life insurance policies despite the progress In the size of the population and technological development and health improvement, living, cultural and other, which is supposed to contribute to raise the level of acceptance of insurance policies individual life, and when studying and analysis of the admissions processes for the two periods above and the resulting indicators have been concluded that the lack of actuarial experience in (practical Normal admission, unusual admission, admission to or without medical examination, admission by age group, number of documents admitted from the total number of applications received to the company, required insurance period, etc.) have a significant impact on individual life insurance activity. The study recommended to know the reason for the neglect of the role of actuarial experience in the work of the Iraqi General Insurance Company, in addition to the need to prepare and prepare the actuaries to be relied upon in the future, as well as to be acquainted with the work of international insurance companies that depend on the actuarial experience, as well as work to increase The Awareness about the actuarial profession among the employees of the company, and make it an essential part of the organizational structure, with a focus on the Iraqi Insurance Bureau to take its role in this area, and the preparation of actuarial reports and tariffs in line with the development in society.

The tagged research problem (the outputs of the written text in conceptual art) dealt with a comparative analytical study in the concept of conceptual art trends (land art - body art - art - language).

The study consisted of four chapters. The first chapter dealt with the theoretical framework, which was represented in presenting (the research problem), which raised the following question: What is the role of the written text in the transformations of the conceptual arts?

The first chapter included (the importance of research) and (research objectives) seeking to conduct comparative research in the written text within the trends of conceptual art as a moving phenomenon in art, and to reveal the variable written text in the

Experimental Study of Mixed Convection in an Enclosure with a Cold Movable Top Wall and Hot Bottom Wall
...Show More Authors

Mixed convection heat transfer to air inside an enclosure is investigated experimentally. The bottom wall of the enclosure is maintained at higher temperature than that of the top wall which keeps in oscillation motion, whereas the left and right walls are well insulated. The differential temperature of the bottom and top walls changed several times in order to accurately characterize the temperature distribution over a considerable range of Richardson number. Adjustable aspect ratio box was built as a test rig to determine the effects of Richardson number and aspect ratio on the flow behavior of the air inside the enclosure. The flow fields and the average Nusselt number profiles were presented in this wo

Poetry is regarded an interesting area of inquiry in linguistic studies due to its eccentric and aesthetic use of language. A lot of studies have been carried out so far for the analysis of poetry, yet few have dealt with pastoral poetry. The present research attempts to investigate the language of pastoral poetry in two different languages i.e. English and Arabic with the aim of finding similarities and differences. The data of the study consists of one English and one Arabic pastoral poems. Leech and Short's (2007) checklist is used as a model for analysis. The findings of the study reveal that there are more similarities than differences between English and Arabic pastoral poems as the poems rely on contrast in the use of the lex

Comparative Study on the Clinicopathological Profiles of Breast Cancer Among Iraqi and British Patients
...Show More Authors

Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Iraq and the United Kingdom. While the disease is frequently diagnosed among middleaged Iraqi women at advanced stages accounting for the second cause of cancer-related deaths, breast cancer often affects elderly British women yielding the highest survival of all registered malignancies in the UK. Objective: To compare the clinical and pathological profiles of breast cancer among Iraqi and British women; correlating age at diagnosis with the tumor characteristics, receptor-defined biomarkers and phenotype patterns. Methods: This comparative retrospective study included the clinical and pathological characteristics of (1,940) consecutive female patients who were diagnosed with invasive b

Greywater is a possible water source that can be improved for meeting the quality required for irrigation. Treatment of greywater can range from uncomplicated coarse filtration to advanced biological treatment. This article presents a simple design of a small scale greywater treatment plant, which is a series of physical and natural processes including screening, aeration, sedimentation, and filtration using granular activated carbon filter and differentiates its performance with sand filter. The performance of these units with the dual filter media of (activated carbon with sand) in treatment of greywater from Iraqi house in Baghdad city during 2019 and that collected from several points including washbasins, kitchen si

Numerical Analysis of Laminar Natural Convection in Square Enclosure with and without Partitions and Study Effect of pPartition on the Flow Pattern and Heat Transfer
...Show More Authors

The problem of steady, laminar, natural convective flow in an square enclosure with and without partitions is considered for Rayleigh number (103-106) and Prandtl number (0.7). Vertical walls were maintained isothermal at different temperatures while horizontal walls and the partitions were insulated. The length of partition was taken constant. The number of partitions were placed on horizontal surface in staggered arrangement from (1– 3) and ratio of partition thickness (H/L= 0.033, 0.083, 0.124). The problem is formulated in terms of the vorticity-stream function procedure. A numerical solution based on a program in Fortran 90 with the finite difference method is obtained. Representative results illustrating the effects of the thickn
