The aim of the research is to assess the practice of tax administration to diminish the strategic direction of (proactive, analytical, defensive, response) and the nature of its relationship to organizational excellence represented by (leadership, strategic planning, focus on taxpayers, information and analysis and knowledge management, focus on operations, focus on forces. The questionnaire was adopted as a main tool in collecting data and information from the sample members of the General Authority for Taxes (110) who are in the site (m. Second Division Manager, Ms The statistical program (SPSS) was used to calculate (mean, standard deviation, difference coefficient, correlation coefficient, t-test). The research reached a number of conclusions, the most prominent of which were: 1- The level of response of tax administration leaders towards the practice of strategic direction is high. 2. There is a positive and strong correlation between the dimensions of strategic direction and organizational excellence.
This study investigates the implementation of Taguchi design in the estimation of minimum corrosion rate of mild-steel in cooling tower that uses saline solution of different concentration. The experiments were set on the basis of Taguchi’s L16 orthogonal array. The runs were carried out under different condition such as inlet concentration of saline solution, temperature, and flowrate. Among a collection of leafhoppers from Erbil Province in Kurdistan/Iraq, a new species of the genus Arboridia Zakhvatkin, 1946 was designated and described here as a new species to the science. The erection of this species was mainly built on the external characters included the male genitalia. Sites and dates of collections so as the host-plants were verified.
Methylotrophs bacteria are ubiquitous, and they have the ability to consume single carbon (C1) which makes them biological conversion machines. It is the first study to find facultative methylotrophic bacteria in contaminated soils in Iraq. Conventional PCR was employed to amplify MxaF that encodes methanol dehydrogenase enzyme. DNA templates were extracted from bacteria isolated from five contaminated sites in Basra. The gene specific PCR detected Methylorubrum extorquens as the most dominant species in these environments. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are drugs that help reduce inflammation, which often helps to relieve pain. In this research new ibuprofen oxothiazolidnone derivatives were synthesized from the reaction of Schiff base derivatives of Ibuprofen with mercapto acetic acid VI a-c, to improve the potency and to decrease the drug's potential side effects, a new series of 4-thiazolidinone derivatives of ibuprofen was synthesized VI a-c . The characterizations of the compounds were identified by using FTIR, 1HNMR technique and by measuring the physical properties.
