The role of Cost awareness of activation of strategic cost management techniques of industrial units: A prospective study at the General Company for the manufacture of medicines and medical supplies in the province of Mosul
...Show More Authors

The last ten years observed a shift enormous scientific in the method and way that it deals professional with the cost accounting and reflected the result those shift enormous scientific of increase the competitive environmental that accompanied the emergence of a modern manufacturing environmental on surface the long roductive life and emergence advanced information technology that give a central focus of his important on client with growing global markets growth on a large scale.

The research aim to define the concept of cost awareness, the concept and methods of  strategic cost management and the role of cost awareness for managers of industrial units in strategic of cost management, the research premise that growing of cost awareness upon managers of industrial units will lead to provide the necessary environmental for development of efficient management of costs and then increase the effectiveness of the costs information systems.   This research find out the set of conclusions one of most important is that publishing the cost awareness and growing it at management of companies help greatly on applying the methods of strategic cost management. The researchers  recommended the needed of growing and publishing cost awareness concept at companies management and trend towards apply the methods of strategic  cost management.

Girls’ Self-Esteem and its Association with Self-Stigma toward Obesity
...Show More Authors
Abstract
<title>Background:

Obesity among girls can lead to physical, psychological, or social problems. Enhancing self-esteem and reducing self-stigma toward obesity can play a crucial role in girls’ health. This study aims to assess girls’ self-esteem and its association with self-stigma toward obesity.

Materials and Methods:

A descriptive cross-sectional design was used to meet the study’s objective. A convenience sampling method was used to gather the sample from 24 middle and high schools in five cities across Iraq from (January

Color Image Denoising Using Stationary Wavelet Transform and Adaptive Wiener Filter
...Show More Authors

The denoising of a natural image corrupted by Gaussian noise is a problem in signal or image processing.  Much work has been done in the field of wavelet thresholding but most of it was focused on statistical modeling of wavelet coefficients and the optimal choice of thresholds.  This paper describes a new method for the suppression of noise in image by fusing the stationary wavelet denoising technique with adaptive wiener filter. The wiener filter is applied to the reconstructed image for the approximation coefficients only, while the thresholding technique is applied to the details coefficients of the transform, then get the final denoised image is obtained by combining the two results. The proposed method was applied by usin

Ternary glycerol-based deep eutectic solvents: Physicochemical properties and enzymatic activity
...Show More Authors

The present study investigates deep eutectic solvents (DESs) as potential media for enzymatic hydrolysis. A series of ternary ammonium and phosphonium-based DESs were prepared at different molar ratios by mixing with aqueous glycerol (85%). The physicochemical properties including surface tension, conductivity, density, and viscosity were measured at a temperature range of 298.15 K – 363.15 K. The eutectic points were highly influenced by the variation of temperature. The eutectic point of the choline chloride: glycerol: water (ratio of 1: 2.55: 2.28) and methyltriphenylphosphonium bromide:glycerol:water (ratio of 1: 4.25: 3.75) is 213.4 K and 255.8 K, respectively. The stability of the lipase enzyme isolated from porcine pancreas (PPL) a

Advanced Intelligent Data Hiding Using Video Stego and Convolutional Neural Networks
...Show More Authors

Steganography is a technique of concealing secret data within other quotidian files of the same or different types. Hiding data has been essential to digital information security. This work aims to design a stego method that can effectively hide a message inside the images of the video file.  In this work, a video steganography model has been proposed through training a model to hiding video (or images) within another video using convolutional neural networks (CNN). By using a CNN in this approach, two main goals can be achieved for any steganographic methods which are, increasing security (hardness to observed and broken by used steganalysis program), this was achieved in this work as the weights and architecture are randomized. Thus,

Bacterial isolation from burn wound infections and studying their antimicrobial susceptibility
...Show More Authors

The present study was carried out to determine the bacterial isolates and study their antimicrobial susceptibility in case of burned wound infections. 70 burn wound swabs were taken from patients, who presented invasive burn wound infection from both sex and average age of 3-58 years, admitted to teaching medical Al- Kendi hospital from October 2007 to June 2008. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was found to be the most common isolate (48.9%) followed by Staphylococcus aureus (24.4%), Citrobacter braakii (13.3%), Enterobacter spp. (11.1%), Coagulase-negative Staphylococci (11.1%), Proteus vulgaris (6.66%), Corynebacterium spp. (6.66%), Micrococcus (6.66%), Proteus mirabilis (4.44%), Enterococcus faecalis (4.44%), E.coli (4.44%), Klebsiella spp. (2.22

Heterogeneously Catalyzed Esterification Reaction: Experimental and Modeling Using Langmuir- Hinshelwood Approach
...Show More Authors

The esterification reaction of ethyl alcohol and acetic acid catalyzed by the ion exchange resin, Amberlyst 15, was investigated. The experimental study was implemented in an isothermal batch reactor. Catalyst loading, initial molar ratio, mixing time and temperature as being the most effective parameters, were extensively studied and discussed. A maximum final conversion of 75% was obtained at 70°C, acid to ethyl alcohol mole ratio of 1/2 and 10 g catalyst loading. Kinetic of the reaction was correlated with Langmuir-Hanshelwood model (LHM). The total rate constant and the adsorption equilibrium of water as a function of the temperature was calculated. The activation energies were found to be as 113876.9 and -49474.95 KJ per Kmol of ac

Cognitive Sharing and its Relationship to Perfectionism Among Kindergarten Pepartment Students
...Show More Authors

The current research aims to show the correlation between cognitive sharing and perfectionism of Kindergarten pepartment students, to identify the level of cognitive sharing of kindergarten pepartment students and to identify the level of perfectionism among students. The research sample consisted of 100 students from the kindergarten pepartment College of Education for women, Baghdad University for the academic year 2024-2025. They were selected in an accessible manner. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the scale of cognitive sharing was adopted after verifying its validity and reliability and anolher scale for perfections. The results perfectionism, the research results have shown that the average arithmetic of cognitive

Diamond-like carbon, amorphous hydrogenated films forms of carbon, were pretreated from cyclohexane (C6H12) liquid using plasma jet which operates with alternating voltage 7.5kv and frequency 28kHz. The plasma Separates molecules of cyclohexane and Transform it into carbon nanoparticles. The effect of argon flow rate (0.5, 1 and 1.5 L/min) on the optical and chemical bonding properties of the films were investigated. These films were characterized by UV-Visible spectrophotometer, X-ray diffractometer (XRD) Raman spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The main absorption appears around 296, 299 and 309nm at the three flow rate of argon gas. The value of the optical energy gap is 3.37, 3.55 and 3.68 eV at a different flow rate o
