The role of Cost awareness of activation of strategic cost management techniques of industrial units: A prospective study at the General Company for the manufacture of medicines and medical supplies in the province of Mosul
...Show More Authors

The last ten years observed a shift enormous scientific in the method and way that it deals professional with the cost accounting and reflected the result those shift enormous scientific of increase the competitive environmental that accompanied the emergence of a modern manufacturing environmental on surface the long roductive life and emergence advanced information technology that give a central focus of his important on client with growing global markets growth on a large scale.

The research aim to define the concept of cost awareness, the concept and methods of  strategic cost management and the role of cost awareness for managers of industrial units in strategic of cost management, the research premise that growing of cost awareness upon managers of industrial units will lead to provide the necessary environmental for development of efficient management of costs and then increase the effectiveness of the costs information systems.   This research find out the set of conclusions one of most important is that publishing the cost awareness and growing it at management of companies help greatly on applying the methods of strategic cost management. The researchers  recommended the needed of growing and publishing cost awareness concept at companies management and trend towards apply the methods of strategic  cost management.

Abstract Background: Augmentation cystoplasty is one of the surgical procedure for treatment of spastic neurogenic bladder that has a significant improvement in the cystometric parameters. Aim of study: The aim of this study is to describe cystometric findings pre and post augmentation cystoplasty in patients with spastic neurogenic bladder. Patients and methods: A prospective study including patients aged 6-18years with neurogenic bladder operated on for augmentation cystoplasty surgery with ilium segments due to a neurogenic bladder from the years 2020–2024. A urodynamic study was conducted before and 3 months after the surgical procedure. Non-probabilistic sample of consecutive cases. Descriptive statistics were presented using fre

A field study was conducted in Al-Khalis district, Diyala Governorate in 2019 to test the sensitivity of three varieties of pepper to the population density of the whitefly B. tabaci, Anaheim pepper, Aleppo and local variety, and the results showed that the Anaheim variety was the most infested with the whitefly density 4.08 whitefly/ leaf and then the local variety 2.7 whitefly/ leaf. The lowest population density was 1.25 whitefly/ leaf of Aleppo variety. Variety Aleppo also recorded the lowest percentage of whitefly infection B. tabaci of 39.22%, but not have significant differences in the percentage of whitefly infestation, as it reached 53.64% and 54.85% for the Anaheim and local varieties, respectively. The resistance of variety Alepp

Mindfulness and Its Relation to Self Regulated Learning Among University Students

Mindfulness is considered a process to draw an image of the active event and to creat new social varieties which leaves the individuals open to modernity and to be sensitive towards the context. in contrast, when individuals act with less attention, they need to be more determined concerning the varieties and events of the past . and as a result , they become unaware of the characteristics that creat the individual condition .The problem of the current study is represented in asking about the nature of the possible relationship between mindfulness and self-regulated learning within specific demographic frame of an importantsocial category represented in university students where no previous researches nor theories have agreed on the natu

Replacing Formalin with Alcohol and its Effect on Preserved Fish Specimens
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>This study aims to formulate an alternative solution for Formalin for preserving fish as study specimens for long periods. The main reason for finding a solution instead of formalin is to get rid of the negative effects of this solution on those who work with it, as well as to better preserve the bodies of fish. Hence, three new solutions were proposed to replace formalin. Thus, Formalin, in turn, may enter the composition of a small part of these solutions to give better results and for long periods of keeping specimens. All solutions prepared in this study participated in being acidic as in formalin. Two solutions succeeded in compensating for the use of formalin in preserving fish </p> ... Show More

Background: diagnostic radiology field workers are at elevated risk level for systemic and oral diseases like periodontal diseases. This study was aimed to estimate the periodontal condition and salivary flow rate among diagnostic radiology workers. Material and method: The sample for this study consisted of a study group radiographers (forty subjects) working for 5 years at least and control group consisted of nurses and laboratory workers away from radiation (forty subjects) in Baghdad hospitals. All the 80 subjects aged 30-40 year-old and looking healthy without systemic diseases. Plaque, gingival, periodontal pocket depth and clinical attachment loss indices were used for recording the periodontal conditions. Under standardized condi

New Predictive Block Matching Searching Algorithms and Hybrid Predictive Search System
...Show More Authors

In this paper, two new simple, fast and efficient block matching algorithms are introduced, both methods begins blocks matching process from the image center block and moves across the blocks toward image boundaries. With each block, its motion vector is initialized using linear prediction that depending on the motion vectors of its neighbor blocks that are already scanned and their motion vectors are assessed. Also, a hybrid mechanism is introduced, it depends on mixing the proposed two predictive mechanisms with Exhaustive Search (ES) mechanism in order to gain matching accuracy near or similar to ES but with Search Time ST less than 80% of the ES. Also, it offers more control capability to reduce the search errors. The experimental tests

Abstract
<title>Background and aims

Calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumour (CEOT) is a benign odontogenic neoplasm of epithelial origin that secretes an amyloid‐like protein tending towards calcification. This study aims to describe a case series from Iraq of one of the rarest odontogenic tumours.

Materials and methods

Clinical and histopathological analysis of Calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumour cases that are archived at the oral pathology laboratory of the college of dentistry (Baghdad University) from 2000 to 2019.

Results

Investigation Desulfurization Method Using Air and Zinc Oxide/Activated Carbon Composite
...Show More Authors

In present work examined the oxidation desulfurization in batch system for model fuels with 2250 ppm sulfur content using air as the oxidant and ZnO/AC composite prepared by thermal co-precipitation method. Different factors were studied such as composite loading 1, 1.5 and 2.5 g, temperature 25 oC, 30 oC and 40 oC and reaction time 30, 45 and 60 minutes. The optimum condition is obtained by using Tauguchi experiential design for oxidation desulfurization of model fuel. the highest percent sulfur removal is about 33 at optimum conditions. The kinetic and effect of internal mass transfer were studied for oxidation desulfurization of model fuel, also an empirical kinetic model was calculated for model fuels
