The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact two doses of Menaquinones-7 on hepatotoxicity induced by doxorubicin in rats. This study investigated the applicability of iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) nanoparticles for the removal of cadmium metal from sewage water by using batch scale experiments. The iron oxide nanoparticles of 27.7nm were synthesized using a biological method and characterized by Atomic Force Microscope (AFM).  The Box-Wilson design was used to conduct experiments with three parameters such as pH (2-6), time of adsorption (6-120min) and adsorbent dosage (5-25mg/L). The best conditions occurred at pH: 5.5; contact time: 95.8 min; and iron oxide nanoparticle dosage: 20.77 mg/L for maximum cadmium removal of (96.9%).

Abstract- Plasma parameters in a planar dc-sputtering discharge in argon were measured by cylindrical electrostatic probe (Langmuir probe).Electron density, electron temperature, floating potential, and space potential were monitored as a function of working discharge pressure. Electrostatic probe and supporting circuit were described and used to plot the current – voltage characteristics. Plasma properties were inferred from the current-voltage characteristics of a single probe positioned at the inter-cathode space. Typical values are in the range of (10-16 -10-17) m-3 and (2.93 – 5.3) eV for the electron density and the electron temperature respectively.

A total of twenty-four local geese, one year old, were used in this experiment during the period from the beginning of October to the end of December. Herbal remedies are used in induction of lactation. In view of that .Borage Officinalis was employed to ensure an abundant milk supply or rectify milk insufficiency .However, this remedy has not been scientifically tested .The animals were treated with the aqueous extract of Borage Officinalis flowers at a daily concentration of 100 mg / kg body weight /ml for each rat through Oro-gastric tube for 14 days. Animals were subdivided into subgroups according to their physiological status. Mammary glands of these animals were processed for histological, histochemical and immunohistochemical studies.
