Consistent with developments emerging environmental and canaccept by Iraq of the opportunities and challenges ahead in many fields,including economic areas, it requires the face of those developments andadaptation by adopting a lot of related concepts, including the concept ofcorporate governance and commitment to its principles, standards andmechanisms, especially those related to the formation of audit committeesand identify the tasks and duties entrusted to its members and terms oftheir independence as well as the rehabilitation of both scientific andpractical manner that is consistent with the interests of shareholders andother stakeholders in the companies, including banks, research sample, theresearch aims to shed light on the concept of corporate governance and theimportance of forming audit Committees and identify deficiencies in theCompanies Law (64)- 2004 and the banking Law (94)- 2004 in the signalclearly to the concept of corporate governance and implementationmechanisms, especially those related to the Audit Committee, as it becameclear through the results of the analysis that many of theworking in theresearch sample banks in favor of activating the legal framework thatregulates the work of banks, which would contribute in enhancing theeffectiveness of governance.
Background: This study is to evaluate the necessity of prescribing prophylactic antibiotics for nasal packing in spontaneous epistaxis. There are few published papers of infective complications in such patients.
Methods: This prospective study analysed 149 consecutive patients admitted to AL-Kindy teaching hospital with spontaneous, epistaxis, who underwent nasal packing over 2 years period . in the first year, 78 patients received prophylactic antibiotics , In the second year 71 patients were not given prophylatic antibiotics. Phase change materials are known to be good in use in latent heat thermal energy storage (LHTES) systems, but one of their drawbacks is the slow melting and solidification processes. So that, in this work, enhancing heat transfer of phase change material is studied experimentally for in charging and discharging processes by the addition of high thermal conductive material such as copper in the form of brushes, which were added in both PCM and air sides. Two isolates of entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium anisopliae were used (commercially (Met 52 EC), and domesticly). For the two isolates, the effectiveness of various conidial concentrations were (1 × 104 ; 1 × 106 ; 1 × 108 conidia/ ml) and various concentrations of fungal filtrate (100,75,50%) were evaluated. Different fiber volume fraction of glass fibers were used (3%, 6%, 9%, 12%, and 15%). Specimens were made from polyester which reinforced with glass fibers .The fibers had two arrangements according to the direction of the thermal flow.
