The research aims to determine the role of internal control in reducing the risk of the insurance company in the sample and through the study and analysis of the concept of internal control and stages and kinds of departments and their relationship. On this basis, offered a researcher at the consideration of the subject (oversight role in reducing the risk of insurance) An Empirical Study in the National Insurance Company to choose used form questionnaire as head of the collection of information as well as personal interviews for managers, and tested hypotheses which focused on the existence and effect relationship between the variables of search by statistical methods relevant for the purpose of testing hypotheses relationship adopted Pearson correlation coefficient, and to test the effect relationship has been the adoption of simple linear regression coefficient.The research found to prove the most important results of the theoretical side of it which is the success of the internal control in any economic unit depends on how serious the desire of senior management to its success, support and because the administration is responsible for the formulation and design of the internal control system commensurate with its goals., And the most important results of the search scientifically is a relationship strong correlation between the internal control and risk insurance, and this relationship is disabled or employee in the company has a good researcher recommends more attention to and strengthen the relationship and this is in the protection of the company's exposure to risk. And in the end, the researcher presented a set of recommendations to the company researched, based on the findings was the most prominent. Trace Elements (Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn, Ni) level were examined in hair of donors from industrial areas, cities and village, and in permanent contact with a polluted workplace environment in lattakia. Hair sample were analyzed for their contents of the trace elements by inductivity coupled plasma- mass spectrometer (ICP- MS). It was found that the contents of (Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn, Ni) in the hair were significantly higher in the industrial areas and cities, while in the village had the lower concentration of elements. Correlation coefficients between the levels of the elements in hair found in this study showed that hair is a good indicator of Environmental Pollution.

The ability of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) to uptake three pharmaceuticals (diclofenac, mefenamic acid and metronidazole) from two types of soil (clay and sandy soil) was investigated in this study to explore the human exposure to these pharmaceuticals via the consumption of beans. A pot experiment was conducted with beans plants which were grown in two types of soil for six weeks under controlled conditions. During the experiment period, the soil pore water was collected weekly and the concentrations of the test compounds in soil pore water as well as in plant organs (roots, stems and leaves) were weekly determined.

A field experiment was conducted at the experimental field of botanical garden, faculty of science, university of Baghdad, in order to study the effect of plant density on growth and yield of two local cultivars of sunflower (Sin Althieb and Shumose). The densities used were 4.4 and 8.8 plant/m2. The results showed difference between cultivars in their agronomic traits and their yields. There was a significant increase in plant height and leaf area index by increasing the plant density, while head diameter, number of seeds and leaf area decreased.
