In this paper the effects of the contact material on the photovoltaic (PV) characteristics of p-NiO:Au/n-Si solar cells fabricated by using the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique had been studied. It shown the p-NiO:Au/n-Si could be successfully used to construct and improve the performance of solar cells by using Au. The conversion efficiency was increased comparable with p-NiO/n-Si solar cells. In this case the NiO:Au layer acts as a hole collector as well as a barrier for charge recombination.

In this research, thin films of CdO: Mg and n-CdO: Mg/ p-Si heterojunction with thickness (500±50) nm have been deposited at R.T (300 K) by thermal evaporation technique. These samples have been annealed at different annealing temperatures (373 and 473) K for one hour. Structural, optical and electrical properties of {CdO: Mg (1%)} films deposited on glass substrate as a function of annealing temperature are studied in detail. Most tubes are made from butyl rubbers, but certain types, such as giant tubes, are based on natural rubber because very high green strength is required when handling the uncured compound. By using blends of natural rubber (NR) and brominated butyl rubber (BIIR), it is possible to maintain high green strength in the uncured compound and improve impermeability and heat resistance of the cured tube.  The best formulations are obtained in the presence of 50 phr of (BIIR) to achieve desired mechanical properties. Improved impermeability was obtained by using 50 and 75 phr of (BIIR) rubber in compounds. Blending of brominated butyl rubber (BIIR) with natural rubber (NR) enhances air retention with acceptable sacrifices in green strength.

In this paper, an adaptive polynomial compression technique is introduced of hard and soft thresholding of transformed residual image that efficiently exploited both the spatial and frequency domains, where the technique starts by applying the polynomial coding in the spatial domain and then followed by the frequency domain of discrete wavelet transform (DWT) that utilized to decompose the residual image of hard and soft thresholding base. The results showed the improvement of adaptive techniques compared to the traditional polynomial coding technique.

The laminar fluid flow of water through the annulus duct was investigated numerically by ANSYS fluent version 15.0 with height (2.5, 5, 7.5) cm and constant length (L=60cm). With constant heat flux applied to the outer duct. The heat flux at the range (500,1000,1500,2000) w/m2 and Reynolds number values were ≤ 2300. The problem was 2-D investigated. Results revealed that Nusselt number decrease and the wall temperature increase with the increase of heat flux. Also, the average Nusselt number increase as Re increases. And as the height of the annulus increase, the values of the temperature and the local and average Nusselt number increase.
