The experiment has been carried out in the Syrian National Commission of Biotechnology, during the growing season 2018/2019, to study the effect of abiotic stresses (salinity and osmotic stresses) on the activity of some antioxidant enzymes and biochemical traits in Catharanthus roseus. This study deals with the seismic reflection interpretation of Cretaceous Formations in Tuba oil field, southern Iraq, including structural and stratigraphic techniques. The study achieved by using Geofram , Geolog and Petrel software. The interpretation process, of 2-D seismic data and well logs have been used. Based on well logs and synthetic traces two horizons were identified and picked which are the tops of Mishrif and Zubair Formations. These horizons were followed over all the area in order to obtain their structural setting. The study deals with 3D seismic reflection in the central Iraq within Merjan oil field which is located approximately (130 km) to the southwest Baghdad and south of Razaza. The 3D seismic survey was interpreted; the results showed that the oil is found within Hartha Formation as stratigraphic traps and with the absence of structural traps. The major normal faults picked are trending N-S direction. The current study was conducted for studying the impact of cold plasma on the expression level of three genes that participate in the biosynthesis of the phenylpropanoid pathway in Ocimum basilicum. These studied genes were cinnamate 4-hydroxylase (c4h), 4-coumarate CoA ligase (4cl), and eugenol O-methyl transferase (eomt).
