Despite the importance of sustainable development and its dimensions in developing performance and supporting competitive advantage in economic units, there is a gap and lack of coordination between Combined Assurance providers (management, internal audit, external audit) to report on sustainable development, and the research aims to propose a model for the Combined Assurance report to achieve development sustainable development in the Iraqi economic units, especially the Baghdad Municipality, enables assurance providers to coordinate efforts that lead to the achievement of Combined Assurance, The research found the proposed model for the Combined Assurance report in achieving sustainable development in the Iraqi economic units, especially the Baghdad Municipality, which leads to improving the assurance processes among the assurance providers about economic, environmental and social risks and getting rid of duplication that hinders the achievement of goals and finding practical ways to preserve resources and improvement to achieve sustainable development, The research presented a number of recommendations, represented by the need to implement the joint assurance in the Iraqi economic units, especially the Baghdad Municipality, because it gives a comprehensive view to the senior management of the potential risks related to economic, environmental and social activities, as well as the need to adopt the proposed model for the Combined Assurance report in achieving sustainable development in economic units. A new ligand [N-(4-methoxy benzoyl amino)-thioxo methyl ] leucine (MBL) was prepared from the reaction of (4-methoxy benzoyl isothiocyanate with leucine acid in molar ratio (l:l), it was characterized by elemental analysis (C.H.N.S), FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1H and 13C-NMR. The complexes of the bivalent ions (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg ) have been prepared and characterized too. The structural was established by elemental analysis (C.H.N.S), FT-IR, UV-Vis spectra, conductivity measurements atomic absorption and magnetic susceptibility and determination of molar ration (M:L). The complexes showed characteristic behavior of tetrahedral geometry around the metal ions except with (Cu) complex showed square planer.
Two new organotin(IV) complexes Me2Snesc (C1) and Bu2Snesc (C2) have been synthesised from the reaction of the corresponding organotin(IV) chloride with the Schiff base ligand 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde-4-ethylsemicarbazone (H2esc). The ligand was prepared in two steps. The first step includes the formation of 4-ethylsemicarbazide, which then reacted with 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde to give the title ligand. Complex formation between the organotin(IV) moiety and the anionic form of 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehy-4-ethylsemicarbazone occurred through the o-dihydroxy positions. The aim of this work is the synthesis of new grafted PVA polymer with a derivative of Erythro-ascorbic acid (pentulosono-ɣ -lactone-2, 3-enedianisoate). Show MoreThis study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of anemia among students (males and females) of the Technical and Medical Institute/ Al-Mansoor, Baghdad. 135 students aged 20 -22 years were subjected. Twenty-one students were found to be anemic. The prevalence of anemia among students was 15.55%, with no significant difference to sex. Then, the anemic students were treated with tablets of ferrous sulfate twice daily for 60 days. The treatment markedly elevated the hemoglobin concentration of both males and females and decreased the prevalence of anemia from 15.55% to 5.92%.
