The early childhood is a dangerous period for the development of children
in their present and future life . It is important to design programs for the preschool
period .
These programs are relatd to the childs Personality and its integration .
The most effective stories and attractive programs for the child is the objective
stories which can develop his self-canfidence . Therefore the kindergarten
should participate in developing the childs personality and experience
because it is the most effective institute in the childs life .

The present study aims to develop and apply the unrealistic optimism scale among high school students. The researcher has designed a scale of (38) paragraphs to measure the unrealistic optimism. A sample of (200) male and female students were chosen randomly to collect the needed data. The study found that the unrealistic scale of optimism has good psychometric characteristics. The goal of this study is to investigate the relationship between optimism and life orientation for a subject of female students in the collage of education for women including the first and fourth stage students ,the sample contained (319) students ,(153)of them were a first stagers ,(166) of them were at the fourth stage.
