The research aimed: 1. Definition of family climate for the university students. 2. Definition of statistical significance of differences in family climate variable depending on the sex (males - females) and specialization (Scientific - humanity). 3. Definition of academic adjustment for university students. 4. Definition of correlation between climate and academic adjustment. The research sample formed of (300) male and female students by (150) male of scientific and humanitarian specialization and (150) female of scientific and humanitarian specialization randomly selected from the research community. To achieve the objectives of the research the researcher prepared a tool to measure family climate. And adopted the measure (Azzam 2010) to measure the academic adjustment. The researcher used a number of statistical ways to analyze data, final results show that as students of the University of Baghdad are only a family climate. The results also showed no statistically significant differences in family climate depending on the sex variable when there were differences in the family climate in humanity specialization. The adjustment in the academic results showed that students of the University of Baghdad have good academic adaptation and this was the result of normal climate of family who enjoy it. While the results showed a positive correlation function between climate and adaptation of domestic academic and researcher in the results came out a number of recommendations and proposals.
This paper set forth the spatial suitability of the informal settlement supposed to be distributed by the Iraqis government to poor people. The Iraqi government identified 9 locations of informal settlement in Baghdad city and acceptance it as a reality as a help for them to getting home. Various activities taking place within the city of Baghdad have significantly contributed to organic pollution in Rivers Tigris and Diyala. The present study aimed to assess some physical, chemical and biological aspects of six sites on Rivers Tigris and Diyala as they flow through the city of Baghdad. Monthly samples were collected for the period January to December, 2005. Marked differences in the physical and chemical characteristics of water were noted between the two rivers’ sites.
