Research was: 1- known as self-efficacy when students perceived the university. 2- know the significance of statistical differences in perceived self-efficacy according to gender and specialty. Formed the research sample of (300) students were chosen from the original research community by way of random (150) male specialization and scientific and humanitarian (150) females specialized scientific and humanitarian. The search tool to prepare the yard tool to measure perceived self-efficacy based on measurements and previous literature on the subject of perceived self-efficacy. The researcher using a number of means, statistical, including test Altaúa and analysis of variance of bilateral and results showed the enjoyment of the research sample efficiently self-aware and also showed that there was no statistically significant differences according to gender, while I found statistically significant differences in self-efficacy perceived according to the variable of specialization and in favor of specialization scientific, and these results showed the researcher a number of recommendations and proposals.
The aim of the research is to find out the effect of the SPAWN strategy on the life skills of second-intermediate-grade students. Show MoreIn the current study, different concentrations of miltefosine drug, which is the first effective and safe oral treatment for visceral leishmaniasis, was evaluated against L. donovani promastigotes in comparison with pentosam drug. Direct counting microscopic assay was used to find 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50) of miltefosine and pentostam against L. donovani promastigotes. The IC50 of miltefosine drug was 45.42μg/ml, 46.76μg/ml and 36.68μg/ml after 24 hr, 48hr and 72hr respectively, In comparison with IC 50 of pentostam drug was 75.39 μg/ml after 72hr. There were significant differences (P˂0.05) between IC50 values of miltefosine and pentostam drugs from first day to third day.
The meanings attributed to Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) are shaped through complex negotiations within religious and socio-cultural frameworks, including those observed in Indonesia. Using a combined qualitative and quantitative (mixed methods)-ethnographic and survey approach, data from 109 students of religious tertiary institutions in East Kalimantan on their perspectives on FGM/C practices can be more comprehensively explored. A representative sample of a thousand volunteer university students was screened for evidence of thalassemia minor.Complete blood counts using automated blood cell analysers and blood smears were examined. Patients having anemia, abnormal red cell indices or morphological features of thalassemia minor like hypochromia, microcytosis, target cells erythrocytosis and family history of thalassemia were then investigated for determination of HbA2 & HbF levels. Estimation of hemoglobin A2 was performed by micro-column chromatography while HbF was done using alkali denaturation. Seventy seven out of the thousand samples tested positive for thalassemia minor.
