Summary:
Background: Pneumonia is a common form of lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) in children under five years of age and it is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in this age group. Early management is important in decreasing its complications and mortality.
Methods: A cross sectional study of 100 patients, their ages ranged from 2 months to 5 years. They were admitted to Children Welfare Teaching Hospital Medical City–Baghdad in a period from 7th of November 2010 to 5th of May 2011, suffering from Lower Respiratory Tract Infections (fever, cough and tachypnea) and classified into two groups according to chest radiograph (CXR) findings, those with a patch (pneumonia) and others with normal or hyper inflated CX

The herein research was carried out in order to identified the presence of bacteria in cervix and uterine lumen in Iraqi cattle during the different estrus phase with focusing on Protus and E coli. Estrus phases were determined by the structures which found on ovary (follicular growth for pro-estrus, mature growing follicle for estrus, hemorrhagic corpus luteam for meta-estrus and active corpus luteam for di-eatrus). Therefore, the aim of current case report was to show how misinterpretation of symptoms of septicaemia can lead to inadequate, and probably inappropriate, management with subsequent medico-legal consequences. Background: Sciatic nerve injury is a common complication following IM gluteal injection in children. A controversy still exists regarding management and outcome.
Objective: To find the outcome of conservative and surgical treatment and compare it with other studies.
Patients and Methods: This is a retrospective study of 24 children( less than 15 years old) with sciatic nerve injection injury at the gluteal region. The child age, gender, type of injection drug, time of injury with complete neurological examination and EMG study were recorded.
