Pregnancy is a unique state of physical, hormonal, and metabolic changes that can result in an oral cavity imbalance. Changes in salivary components and a decrease in salivary flow rate caused by an increase in progesterone may compromise saliva's protective effects, resulting in dental caries.

The current research aims to identify the level of organizational relaxation among the employees of educational directorates in the Sultanate of Oman. The descriptive approach was used, as well as a questionnaire of two parts to collect data. The questionnaire consists of (15) items divided into three themes about the relaxing level. Background: Subcutaneous emphysema is a common presentation to the emergency department. The presence of emphysema in the head and neck region due to dental procedure is not common, and the presence of pneumomediastinum is exceedingly rare.

Case Report: A young lady, presented to the emergency department with chest pain, found to have pneumomediastinum following a dental procedure including a wisdom tooth extraction.

Conclusion: Complications following dental procedures are not uncommon, hence there should be a high index of suspicion for the emergency physicians for such patients, especially those where air turbine dental tools have been used.
