...Show More Authors

Chapter-1

Problem of the research:

The studies and researches have noticed the aggravation of violence practice in all educational means using different and innovated styles against children in the school and house in order to upbringing by the parents or the school .

It is a training method for the person to participate in the society and prepare him to be an effective member.

The current research confines the children in age (6-12) years old representing the primary stage who face different kind of violence during the familiar or school education.

The current research aims to:

1 – The kinds of violence which happens to the children in the primary stage in both familiar and school kinds .

2- The value of educational violence reflections on study attainment .

Violence is defined as every action causes a hurt (moral, material, phonetic, bodily) practice individually or collective then put the child in confrontation with an act (the purpose from it is violence) .

Chapter-2

Kinds of violence:

Kinds and forms of violence can be briefed into:

1 – According to its nature is divided to:

a – Innate violence .

b – Acquired violence .

2 - According to the type of violence is divided into:

a – Material violence .

b – Moral violence .

3 – According to the pointed side is divided to:

a –Against the others violence .

b- Self violence .

4 – According to the legality of violence is divided to:

a –Official violence .

b- unofficial violence .

5 – According to the reason:

a –Attacking violence .

b- Defending violence .

6 – According to the actor:

a –Individual violence .

b- Collective violence .

Theories of violence:

The important theories which tried to explain the violent behavior are :

a – The classical psychological theory .

b – The modern psychological theory .

Former studies:

 Gibb study (1983).۩

Cooper & Mackie study (1986). ۩

Chapter-3

After discussing the violence theories they reached to adopt the theory of (Pandora), because it is the nearest theory in explaining the violence phenomenon, and it is portrayed in universality and assert the role of parents and friends and playing group and media in developing, the violence phenomenon  , and concerned in studying human and interaction with others .

Chapter-4

The researcher concluded:

That the imposed violence in communication means led to aggressive behavior respond, and the vocal and body violence causes harm, hurt, pain to oneself, loneliness, and disappointment.

The researcher recommended:

Public awareness and introduce instruction, and curative programs explaining the danger of violence and the means to cure avoid it.

Impacts of Starvation Stress on Biofilm Formation and expression of Virulence Genes in Mono-and Mixed-species cultures of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus
...Show More Authors

Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are the major globally distributed pathogens, which causes chronic and recalcitrant infections due to their capacity to produce biofilms in large part. Biofilm production represents a survival strategy in these species, allowing them to endure environmental stress by altering their gene expression to match their own survival needs. In this study, we co-cultured different clinical isolates of S. aureus and P. aeruginosa as mono- and mixed-species biofilms in a full-strength Brain Heart Infusion Broth (BHI) and in a 1000-fold diluted Brain Heart Infusion Broth (BHI/1000) using Microtiter plate assay and determination of colony-forming units. Furthermore, the effect of starvation stress on the e

Some Results on Normalized Duality Mappings and Approximating Fixed Points in Convex Real Modular Spaces
...Show More Authors

In this paper, the concept of normalized duality mapping has introduced in real convex modular spaces. Then, some of its properties have shown which allow dealing with results related to the concept of uniformly smooth convex real modular spaces. For multivalued mappings defined on these spaces, the convergence of a two-step type iterative sequence to a fixed point is proved

BK polyomavirus and Cytomegalovirus Co-infections in renal transplant recipients: a single center study
...Show More Authors

Background: Opportunistic viral infections make an important threat to renal transplantation recipients (RTRs), and with the use of more intense newly-developed immunosuppressive drugs; the risk of renal allograft loss due to reactivation of these viruses has increased considerably. At the top priority of these viruses lie BK polyomavirus (BKV) and human cytomegalovirus (CMV). Reactivation of these viruses in these chronically immunosuppressed RTRs can lead to renal impairment and subsequently allograft loss, unless early detected and properly treated. Objectives: The study aimed to detect and quantify plasma viral load of BKV and CMV in RTRs using quantitative real time PCR (qRT-PCR), in order to study the prevalence of these two viruses i

Haematological and Demographic Study in Children Infected with Enterobiasis in Al Diwaniyah Province, Iraq
...Show More Authors

Enterobius vermicularis infection is considered as one of the important causes of anaemia and malnutrition among children. This topic has recently received an increased amount of attention.  The objective of this study is to evaluate the demographical, anthropometrical, nutritional, and  haematological status of E. vermicularis infection among children. This study was conducted in Al Diwaniyah province, south of Iraq, for the period of October 2020 to the end of January 2021. The study included 122 children from both genders (males, n= 61, and females, n=61) and their ages ranged between 1 and 14 years. Nutritional status, body mass index (BMI), BMI percentile, and weight- for- age Z score were evaluated for some particip

A Comparative Study between Transcutaneous Bilirubinometry and Total Serum Bilirubin Measurement in Jaundiced Newborns
...Show More Authors

Background: Drawing blood to measure total serum bilirubin is painful & time consuming. Transcutaneous bilirubinometer working by multiwavelength spectral reflectance from the skin surface on forehead or upper sternum is a quick & painless technique.

Objectives: to compare the effectiveness of transcutaneous (over the upper sternum and forehead) and serum bilirubin measurement of neonate with jaundice.

Subjects and Methods: This is a cross sectional prospective study. It enrolled 175 jaundiced neonates & excluded those exposed to phototherapy. It was conducted at Child Central Teaching Hospi

Performance Study for Mixed Transforms Generated by Tensor Product in Image Compression and Processing
...Show More Authors

In all applications and specially in real time applications, image processing and compression plays in modern life a very important part in both storage and transmission over internet for example, but finding orthogonal matrices as a filter or transform in different sizes is very complex and importance to using in different applications like image processing and communications systems, at present, new method to find orthogonal matrices as transform filter then used for Mixed Transforms Generated by using a technique so-called Tensor Product based for Data Processing, these techniques are developed and utilized. Our aims at this paper are to evaluate and analyze this new mixed technique in Image Compression using the Discrete Wavelet Transfo

Medication adherence and predictive factors in patients with cardiovascular disease: A cross‐sectional study
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>Adherence to cardiac medications makes a significant contribution to avoidance of morbidity and premature mortality in patients with cardiovascular disease. This quantitative study used cross‐sectional survey design to evaluate medication adherence and contributing factors among patients with cardiovascular disease, comparing patients who were admitted to a cardiac ward (n = 89) and those attending outpatient cardiac rehabilitation (n = 31) in Australia. Data collection was completed between October 2016 and December 2017. Descriptive and regression analyses were conducted to identify medication adherence and determine factors independently pred</p> ... Show More

Babylonian theater (Its history, models and properties) a historical comparative study: محمد صبري صالح

The building of the Babylonian theater is considered as one of the distinctive buildings where its foundations have remained steadfast in the face of geographical changes, social's erosion and groundwater that threatened almost all traces of Babylon despite the destruction of the outer structure of the building. The general directorate of antiques performed prospection for those foundations (the ground map), and then the building was completed by new bricks over the original scheme. It became clear when examining the building; its components and foundations, that the building is unique in comparison with the old buildings of the world throughout Iraq. There are similar buildings in other places like Jordan and North Africa such as
