Density functional theory calculations are employed to investigate the impact of edifenphos molecule on the reactivity and electronic sensitivity of pure calcium oxide (CaO) nanocluster. The strong adsorption of edifenphos molecule on CaO nanocluster occurs by the sulfur head of the adsorbate, and the amount of the energy of this adsorption is around − 84.40 kcal/mol. In this study, the use of non-thermal plasma theory to remove toxic gases emitted from a vehicle was experimentally investigated. A non-thermal plasma reactor was constructed in the form of a cylindrical tube made of Pyrex glass. Two stainless steel rods were placed inside the tube to generate electric discharge and plasma condition, by connecting with a high voltage power supply (up to 40 kV). The reactor was used to remove the contaminants of a 1.25-liter 4-cylinder engine at ambient conditions. Q-switched pulsed Nd:YAG laser was used with operating parameters of 500 mJ and 600 mJ pulse energies, 12 ns pulse duration and 10 Hz pulse repetition rate.    In this study the Individuals of Ostracoda crustacean Cyclocypria were used as bioclaner of two species of bacteria namely Escherichia coli & Staphylococcus aurous, these bacteria have been introduced to an artificial aquatic environment with known number from pure cultures. The aim was to check the predation efficiency and ecological role of Cyclocypria as biological cleaners.      The results showed that the predation rate was between 6 106 ×  and 7× 10 6 colony/ ml/ 3 days/ 10 crustacean in the first three days.
