The present study aims to show the importance of ESL reading ability in acquiring English as a second language. The study involves 92 college students (males and females) from the Department of English at Nizwa College of Applied Sciences, Sultanate of Oman. They represent two groups, the foundation year students and the first year English majors.           In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researcher chooses non-randomly the preparatory school affiliated to the District Chamchamal \ Suliemnaniya. The impact of cartoon concepts strategy in the Achievement of the first grade student's average in geography and visual thinking

The study aimed to measure the impact of cartoon concepts strategy to Achievement, visual thinking in the first grade students in the average geographical material.

Find sample consisted of 52 students were divided into two groups, the first experimental studied strategy cartoon concepts and the control group was studied in the traditional manner of parity between the two variables (chronological age, the overall rate, prior knowledge, the degree of intelligence, visual) thinking.

The aim of this study is to recognize the influence of model of active thinking in achievement ofeighth grade students andtheir visual thinking in science.The finds of this research show the superiority students of the experimental group who studied the science material by using the active thinking model on the students of the control group who studied by usual method, in the achievement test. Also the finds show that the students of the experimental group are more successful than students of control group in the test of visual thinking, so the two null hypotheses have been rejected. In this study, the researcher aims to analyze the content of the physics textbook for the 3rd intermediate grade according to the criteria for designing and producing infographics, and the research community consists of the content of the physics textbook for the 3rd intermediate grade intermediate grade for the academic year 2021-2022.
