The current study aimed at identifying the impact of each of the full and part time summer enrichment programs on the performance of gifted students. Moreover, it aimed to study the difference between the full and part time programs on the performance of gifted students. The study sample consisted of (115) students from the full time programs and (137) students from the part time programs, they have been randomly selected from the gifted students participating in the full and part time summer enrichment programs. The researcher used the scale of student performance. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post applications of the students participating in the full time programs on the dimensions of (scientific knowledge, research skills, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, leadership, motivation, and independence) and the total score on the scale of student performance. Furthermore, the results showed a statistically significant difference between the averages of the pre and post applications of the students participating in the part time programs in the dimensions of (scientific knowledge, research skills, critical thinking skills, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, leadership, and independence) and the total score on the scale of student performance. Whereas, the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post applications of the students participating in the part time programs on the dimension of motivation. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students of the full and part time programs on the dimensions of (scientific knowledge, scientific research skills, creative thinking, leadership, motivation, and independence) and the total score on the scale of student performance in favor of the full time programs. While the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the full and part time programs on the dimensions of (critical thinking, and problem solving). Results were discussed in light of the research literature, and some recommendations related to the results of the research topic were presented.
The aim of the study was to find out the correlations and impact between the variable of ethical leadership behavior and university performance at Sumer University. Use the descriptive analytical method by adopting the questionnaire tool to collect data. The questionnaire was distributed electronically to 113 teachers at Sumer University and the response was from 105 teachers. The aim of the present investigation was to develop a microsponge delivery system of acyclovir to control its release when applied topically thereby reducing dosing frequency and enhancement patient compliance. The microsponges were produced by the oil in oil emulsion solvent diffusion method. The aim of this work is to study the effect of mud compositions on it’s rheological behavior under high temperature conditions. Seventeen samples of five types of water base mud in which (fresh water bentonite mud. Lignosulphonate mud, gypsum mud, polymer mud, and salt saturated mud) were tested with different temperatures using the fann viscometer model 50-c. All the tested samples, except the fresh water bentonite mud, have the same trend reduction in both plastic viscosity and yield point with increasing temperature. Show MoreThis work presents an experimental study of heat transfer and flow of distilled water and metal oxide nanofluid Fe3O4-distilled water at concentrations of (φ = 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 %) by volume in a horizontal pipe with constant magnetic field. All the tests are carried out with Reynolds number range (2900-9820) and uniform heat flux (11262-19562 W/m2). The results show that, the nanofluid concentration and magnetic intensity increase, the Nusselt number increases. The maximum enhancement in Nusselt number with magnetic nanofluid is (5.4 %, 26.4 %, 42.7 %) for volume concentration (0.3, 0.6, 0.9 %) respectively.
