The aim of the research is to identify learning difficulties and their role in children's perception of self-concept. The researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical approach method in this study. A questionnaire was designed by the researcher to collect some related information such as biodata, family, health, diagnostic and behavioral patterns of the case. Basically, this study aims to identify the extent to which Iraqi secondary school students use writing strategies and how proficiency level and students gender could affect writing strategy use. The present study aimed to investigate the Listening  anxiety level among Iraqi preparatory students who study English as a foreign language . The sample of the present study consists of (165) students from Iraqi EFL preparatory school students chosen randomly from Baghdad city, to achieve the aim of the  study, an adopted instrument ;English Foreign language listening anxiety scale, after ensuring the validity and reliability of the instruments, it applied and the data collected. Background: Depression, a state of low mood and aversion to activity, can affect people's thoughts, behavior, tendencies, feelings, and sense of well-being. It can either be short-term or long-term, depending on the severity of the person's condition. Risk factors include personal or family history of depression, major life changes, trauma, stress, certain physical illnesses, and medications.

Objective: This study investigates the prevalence of depression among medical students at the University of Baghdad, college of medicine in Iraq, and the association between some variables and depression.

Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional study design with a convenience sampling method was conducted.
