The current study aims to investigate the effect of (SWOM) strategy on acquiring the psychological concepts of educational psychology course and its retention among education college students. To do this, a sample of (57) male and female student were intentionally selected from first grade, Kurdish department / college of education / Ibin Rushd of human sciences. Context has occupied a distinguished place as far as the understanding of the texts and deducting the rules from them or analyzing them. The context was considered as one of the important presumptions as far arriving at the desired meanings is concerned. The word is worthless and the meaning is not known unless we know the context in which it came. The context in its two types the lingual and non-lingual types. It is the best for knowing the intended meaning of the Quranic verses to know the real meaning.  

Through tracingthe term “derivation” in the Holy Quran, I found that the word derivation varies and graduates in meaning from one form to another according to what has been mentioned in the Quranic context. In order to show that variation and graduation, we trace it in three axes:

The first axis (openness): the term “derivation” graduates from the meaning of openness and opening in its broad meaning to partial openness.

The second axis (the dispute): the term “derivation” participated with the general and private meaning, i.e. from hostility to antipathy.
