Because of its limited water solubility and first-pass metabolism, it exhibits variable absorption. Nano-crystalline iron oxide nanoparticles (magnetite) was synthesized by open vessel ageing process. The iron chloride solution was prepared by mixing deionized water and iron chloride tetrahydrate.
