The Department of Art Education in the College of Fine Arts is one of the educational institutions that aims to prepare teachers specialized in teaching art education in secondary schools and other educational institutions, which forces those in charge of preparing the curricula for this section and developing it, taking into account the rapid scientific and technological development. And the subject (Music Appreciation) is one of the subjects taught for the third grades in Art Education departments, and through the exploratory study carried out by the researcher it became clear to him that the Faculties of Fine Arts agreed to define their educational objectives and outputs in the subject (Music Appreciation) in Art Education departments

     The aim of this research is to identify the effectiveness of thinking skills in developing the life skills of the students of the first Academic year, particularly the differences in life skills according to the variable of study specialization (human-scientific). To achieve the research objectives, the life skills scale was constructed on the classification of (WHO). The psychometric properties of the scale were examined. The research aims to identify the level of effectiveness of the teaching practices of science and mathematics teachers in light of the national framework for future skills in Omani schools. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the descriptive approach, as he designed a note card consisting of (30) phrases distributed on three axes: basic skills, practical skills, and technical skills.
