Background: pedicular screw fixation is rapidly becoming a widely used method of spinal instrumentation. Despite improvement in design of instruments and surgical technique and the use of intra-operative fluoroscopy, pedicle cortical perforations occur endangering nearby neurovascular or extra vertebral structures.
Objective: This is a prospective (consecutive cases study) designed for Evaluation of incidence of pedicle screw misplacement in our study sample, compare our results to what is published in literature.
Patients and Method: This study involved 25 adult patients ( 10 males and 15 females ) their age ranged between ( 18 and 70 years) who underwent spinal surgery with pedicle screw fixation for different disorders of

Our research comes to shed light on Iraqi literature as literature that arose in special circumstances alongside foreign literature. Using comparative research methods, we chose to highlight two distinguished writers, who have their mark in the world of literature. The first is the Iraqi writer Maysaloun Hadi, who is considered an icon of Iraqi feminist literature, and the second is the French writer Le Clézieu, who won the Nobel in 2008. We will see through the research how the two authors expressed their views of modernity and urbanism. Background: Urological anomalies are frequently associated with anorectal malformations which are a common source of significant morbidity.

Objective: Is to evaluate the incidence and nature of the urological anomalies with patients of anorectal malformations (ARM).

Patients & methods: The data  from  95 patients with ARM were studied from January 2009 to January 2012 in this cross-sectional study. All patients underwent sonography of urinary tract. Voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) was done in patient with abnormal sonography & to all male patients with ARM who underwent colostomy. Other imaging studies were done in selected cases.
