Two isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were isolated from patients with Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). The aim of this study was to determine the antimicrobial effect of alcoholic leaves extract of Salvia officinalis on Multidrug resistant (MDR) P. aeruginosa. Using the well diffusion test, the alcoholic leaves extract at 100mg/ml and 200 mg /ml was shown to possess antimicrobial activity against the tested microorganism. Three YATOR funnel traps were used in each of these sites which baited with the specific pheromone of A. lineatus from the first of March to the end of October in the College of Agriculture - Abu- Ghraib / Provenance of Baghdad and AL-Nile / Provenance of Babylon , while in AL-Radhwania was used through May- June.  The effect of thermal annealing on some structural and optical  properties of ZnSe thin films was studied which prepared by thermal evaporation method with (550±20) nm thickness and annealing at (373,473)K for (2h), By using X-ray diffraction technique structural properties studied and showed that the films are crystalline nature and have ( cubic structure ) .From the observed results after heating treatment, We found that the annealing to perform decreases in grain size and increases in dislocation and observed the optical properties increase in absorption and decrease in transmission. The Escherichia coli isolated from UTIs, were identified with biochemical tests and vitek test.The ethanolic extracts of Zingiberofficinale(Z.officinale) were tested against E.coli by using the good agar diffusion test, the alcoholic extracts from (25 -100) mg/ml showed antimicrobial activity against tested microorganism. The diameter of inhibition zone increase at high concentrations and rang from (18-20mm) , and these results compared with antibiotics  sensitivity discs were used by discs diffusion method against E.coliisolates, they were resisted to all antibiotics used in this study. Common carp ( Cyprinus carpio L.) juveniles  averaging 7.68± 0.25 - 8.12± 1.14 g in weight were  used for 6 weeks to investigate their survival and growth preferences. The experimented carp were stocked at 12 tanks formerly adjusted with different pH levels values as: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0.  Growth and survival of common carp was assessed every Sunday of each week. Growth rates significantly (P < 0.05 ) increased  at pH 7 and  pH8 respectively. Therefore, the results suggest that the water with pH ranged from 7 to 8 was the best range for growth performance and survival rate of carp.
