The current study aims to develop a proposed educational program based on augmented reality (AR) technology, in addition to assessing its effectiveness in developing research and historical imagination skills of the Humanities Track's female students at the secondary stage, as well as assessing the correlative and predictive relationships between the amount of growth for the two dependent variables. To achieve this, a secondary school in the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah was chosen, and an available random sample of (30) female students from the study population was selected. The quasi-experimental approach was followed by this study, particularly one group design. In addition, two tools were used to collect study data, namely: a test of situations for historical searching skills, and a classroom observation card about historical imagination skills. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data of the study by using SPSS. The results of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤0.01) between the mean scores of the study group in the pre and post-applications in the test of situations for historical searching skills, and classroom observation card about historical imagination skills on the side of the post application. In addition, the results showed that there was a significant (high) impact of the proposed educational program on the study sample, as the coefficient of impact for the two dependent variables reached (4.94, and 5.07) respectively, and the Black coefficient of the two independent variables reached (1.32،1.30) respectively, which can be indicative of the high effectiveness of the two dependent variables of the educational program. At the significance of (a≤0.01) between the two dependent variables, a strong positive correlation was proved by the findings, as the correlation coefficient mounted to (0.850). Furthermore, a liner predictive correlation was revealed by the findings, as the value of (b) reached (19.204, 038.) respectively at the significance of (α ≤0.01) between the two dependent variables for searching and historical imagination skills, which raised each of them to the other one's level. In this work, the antibacterial effectiveness of face masks made from polypropylene, against Candida albicans and Pseudomonas aeruginosa pathogenic was improved by soaking in gold nanoparticles suspension prepared by a one-step precipitation method. The fabricated nanoparticles at different concentrations were characterized by UV-visible absorption and showed a broad surface Plasmon band at around 520 nm. The FE-SEM images showed the polypropylene fibres highly attached with the spherical AuNPs of diameters around 25 nm over the surfaces of the soaked fibres. This paper proposes a compact, plasmonic-based 4 × 4 nonblocking switch for optical networks. This device uses six 2 × 2 plasmonic Mach-Zehnder switch (MZS), whose arm waveguide is supported by a JRD1 polymer layer as a high electro-optic coefficient material. The 4 × 4 switch is designed in COMSOL environment for 1550 nm wavelength operation. The performance of the proposed switch outperforms those of conventional (nonplasmonic) counterparts. The designed switch yields a compact structure ( 500 × 70 µ m 2 ) having V π L = 12 V · µ m , 1.5 THz optical bandwidth, 7.7 dB insertion loss, and −26.5 dB crosstalk. The capability of the switch to route 8 × 40 Gbps WDM signal is demonstrated successfully.
