The current study aims to investigate the second cycle students’ motives for using electronic games in Oman. The sample consisted of (570) students, (346 males and 224 females). The participants completed an open-ended question which was analyzed based on ground theory. The results showed that (46.820%) of the males and (77.678) of the females played electronic games for pleasure, entertainment, and fun. This first category of motivation got the highest percentage of frequency (58.947%). The motive to become a hacker, a popular YouTuber got the lowest percentage (2.280%). Other students’ motives toward playing electronic games included: filling the leisure time, overcoming boredom, feeling adventures, getting science fiction and challenges, developing mental skills, overcoming loneliness, learning new languages, providing movement, enthusiasm, pleasure & comfort, getting prizes, making friends and exchanging experience. The researchers recommended paying attention to the students’ motives toward electronic games and utilizing them in raising their motivation towards learning.

Compassion competence is a nurse's ability to provide patient-centered care and communicate with patients in a sensitive and insightful manner. This descriptive cross-sectional survey study aimed to assess the compassion competence of a multinational group of nursing students.
A total of 1,158 undergraduate nursing students participated in this study, and stratified random sampling method was used to select participants from the 100 study level to the 400 or 500 level. Data were collected using the Compassion Competence Scale.

This study aims to identify the forgiveness level among gifted students and its relation to the self-awareness. The study sample consisted of (207) students were randomly chosen, they are integrated in secondary schools in Abha / Saudi Arabia. The correlative, analytical descriptive method was adopted. Two scales were adopted by the researcher: The forgiveness scale prepared by Rye et al (2001) which translated to Arabic by Al-Mahasneh (2017) and the self-awareness scale which prepared by Al-Ghezwani (2017). The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of six thinking hats on creative thinking among 10th grade female students in Tulkarm district. The sample comprises two sections of 10th grade female students (n=80) in Adawiya secondary School, The two sections were divided into two groups; one as an experimental group which works with six thinking hats, and the second as control group that learns traditionally. Creative thinking exam was used to measure the creative thinking with reliability (0.88).
