The Feeling of Job Alienation and Its Relationship to Organizational Commitment among Free Lecturers in Secondary Schools: Imam Al-Kadhum College (peace be upon him ( Kindergarten and Special Education Department
...Show More Authors

The current study aims to identify the feeling of job alienation and organizational commitment among free lecturers in secondary schools, as well as to identify the significance of the differences in the feeling of job alienation according to the gender and the significance of the differences in organizational commitment according to the gender. It also aims to identify the correlation between the feeling of job alienation and organizational commitment. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher developed two scales: one consisted of (24) items to measure the vacancy in job alienation and the other consisted of (24) items to measure the organizational commitment. The two tools were applied to a sample of (200) male and female teachers, the results revealed that the sample of the research has the feeling of job alienation. The sample of the research does not have an organizational commitment. There are no statistically significant differences in the feeling of job alienation according to gender. There are no statistically significant differences in organizational commitment according to gender. There is a correlation between the feeling of job alienation and organizational commitment. The research came out with a number of recommendations and suggestions

A Developed Compression Scheme to Optimize Data Transmission in Wireless Sensor Networks
...Show More Authors

Improving performance is an important issue in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). WSN has many limitations including network performance. The research question is how to reduce the amount of data transmitted to improve network performance?

The work will include one of the dictionary compression methods which is Lempel Ziv Welch(LZW). One problem with the dictionary method is that the token size is fixed. The LZW dictionary method is not very useful with little data, because it loses many byt

Geomechanical Analysis to Avoid Serious Drilling Hazards in Zubair Oilfield, Southern Iraq
...Show More Authors

Zubair oilfield is an efficient contributor to the total Iraqi produced hydrocarbon. Drilling vertical wells as well as deviated and horizontal wells have been experiencing intractable challenges. Investigation of well data showed that the wellbore instability issues were the major challenges to drill in Zubair oilfield. These experienced borehole instability problems are attributed to the increase in the nonproductive time (NPT). This study can assist in managing an investment-drilling plan with less nonproductive time and more efficient well designing.

To achieve the study objectives, a one dimension geomechanical model (1D MEM) was constructed based on open hole log measurements, including Gamma-

Bulk binding approach for PMIPv6 protocol to reduce handoff latency in IoT
...Show More Authors

<p>Mobility management protocols are very essential in the new research area of Internet of Things (IoT) as the static attributes of nodes are no longer dominant in the current environment. Proxy MIPv6 (PMIPv6) protocol is a network-based mobility management protocol, where the mobility process is relied on the network entities, named, Mobile Access Gateways (MAGs) and Local Mobility Anchor (LMA). PMIPv6 is considered as the most suitable mobility protocol for WSN as it relieves the sensor nodes from participating in the mobility signaling. However, in PMIPv6, a separate signaling is required for each mobile node (MN) registration, which may increase the network signaling overhead and lead to increase the total handoff latency

Watershed Transform Based on Clustering Techniques to Extract Brain Tumors in MRI
...Show More Authors

In this work, watershed transform method was implemented to detect and extract tumors and abnormalities in MRI brain skull stripped images. An adaptive technique has been proposed to improve the performance of this method.Watershed transform algorithm based on clustering techniques: K-Means and FCM were implemented to reduce the oversegmentation problem. The K-Means and FCM clustered images were utilized as input images to the watershed algorithm as well as of the original image. The relative surface area of the extracted tumor region was calculated for each application. The results showed that watershed trnsform algorithm succeedeed to detect and extract the brain tumor regions very well according to the consult of a specialist doctor a

Interleukin-33(IL-33) in Iraqi’s Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients Prone to Atherosclerosis
...Show More Authors

The aim of this study is to determine serum IL-33 levels and atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) .Forty patients with moderate activity of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and forty healthy individuals as control group were enrolled in this study, age (25-45) years. Disease activity was assessed in patients by erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),C-reactive protein (CRP) and rheumatoid factor(RF) .Also lipid profile(cholesterol TC, triglyceride TG, low density lipoprotein LDL-C, very low density lipoprotein VLDL and high density lipoprotein HDL-C), AIP, and IL-33 were determined in all subjects. The results revealed a significant increase in ESR,CRP and RF , TG, VLDL,AIP and IL-33,while is a significant decrease in HDL concentration in patients gr

Irisin Levels Related to Glycosylated Hemoglobin in Type 2 Diabetic Obese Women
...Show More Authors

The aim of the preset study is to explain the role of irisin hormone levels in type-2 obese diabetic women and compare these levels with those in obese nondiabetic women. In addition, we investigated the relation of irisin levels with those of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and body mass index (BMI) in the patients.

Eighty eight subjects were included in this study, including 44 type-2 Iraqi obese diabetic women as a patients group, and 44 obese nondiabetic women as a control group. Serum irisin was measured by Enzyme-linked Immune-Sorbent assay (ELISA), while determination of glycosylated Hemoglobin was carried out by The SD A1c CareTM system. Diabetic type-2 obese women showed a highly significant decrease in

Age Related Changes in Cardiovascular Response to Oxidative Stress Induced by Exercise
...Show More Authors

Background:
There are many circulatory changes that occur during exercise in order to supply the tremendous blood flow required by the muscles during the stimulatory effects on circulation
by the mass sympathetic discharge, the increased arterial pressure and cardiac output. The metabolic effects and the oxidative stress as a result of the work load on cardiac and skeletal
muscles could also show changes.
Objective:
This study was designed to investigate the effects of aging process on the vascular response during exercise and also in the oxidative stress according to age.
Subjects and Methods:
Eight healthy Iraqi subjects were enrolled in this study. Divided into three groups according to a

Background : AgNOR parameters are well known to pathologists as a proliferation marker with advantage over other proliferation markers of being cheaper, simpler and able to assess
proliferation speed as well as state , AgNOR stainability was found to be well preserved in smears kept for up to 2 years , studies have shown that AgNOR values can serve as a useful
prognostic parameter and a marker for tumour progression in different carcinomas (1) This study was conducted to see the importance of AgNOR staining in the peritoneal fluid
cytopathological examination
