The current research aims to identify the level of parental treatment methods tolerance, hostility, strictness, and warmth, as well as the level of self-efficacy among middle school students. Moreover, it aims to identify the correlation relationship between the variables of parental treatment methods and self-efficacy among middle school students. The research sample included (150) middle school students. For achieving the objectives of the current research, the researchers adopted a scale of parental treatment methods prepared by (Zughair, 2006), and a scale of self-efficacy prepared by (Youssef, 2016), which were applied in their final form to the research sample. The research reached the following results: parents use a low-level hostility style and a high-level warmth style with their daughters at the expense of the hostile style.There is a statistical significance difference in self-efficacy among middle school students. The correlation between self-efficacy and the styles of tolerance and warmth was statistically significant. The correlation between self-efficacy, strictness and hostility styles were not statistically significant. In light of the results of the current research, the researchers presented a set of recommendation and suggestions.
New substituted coumarins derivatives were synthesized by using nitration reaction to produce different nitro coumarin isomers which were separated from these isomers by using different solvent, and the reduction of nitro compounds was done to give corresponding amino coumarins. Temperature and reaction time of reaction were very important factors in determining the most productive nitro isotopes. A low temperature for three hours was sufficient to give a high product of a compound 6-nitro coumarin while increasing the temperature for a period of twenty-four hours that gave a high product of 8-nitro-coumarin. In this work, the effect of different particle size on the nonlinear optical properties of silver nanoparticles in de-ionized water was studied. The experimental observation of the far field diffraction patterns by CCD camera in two and three dimensions. The maximum change of nonlinear refractive index and the relative phase shift were calculated. The self-defocusing technique was used with a continuous-wave radiation from DPSS Blue laser .The wavelength is 473 nm with an output power of 270 mW. The present study was carried out to determine the bacterial isolates and study their antimicrobial susceptibility in case of burned wound infections. 70 burn wound swabs were taken from patients, who presented invasive burn wound infection from both sex and average age of 3-58 years, admitted to teaching medical Al- Kendi hospital from October 2007 to June 2008.
