This study was design to characterize the immune response in experimentally Pseudomonas aeruginosa mastitis mice treated probiotic bifidocin and cazacin of Bifidobacterium spp. and Lactobacillus casei. We quantified the level of the IFN-γ and TNF-α cytokines in blood by ELISA technique. IFN-γ level was significantly higher in infected group compared to control (340.21 ± 41.61, 8.45 ± 0.83 pg/ml, respectively). While the level of IFN-γ was significantly higher in mastitis mice than bifidocin and cazacin treated mice. The  study  concentrated  on  measuring  the  lipid  peroxidation marker malon di aldehyde (MDA) in sera of thirty five patients with minor Thalassemia  (Tm), thirty five with major Thalassemia (TM) and thirty five healthy control, their age ranged from (17-30) years. Erythrocytes  enzymes  (Glutathione  -S   - transferase  (GST  )and Catalase) were assayed . The results showed a significant elevation in (MDA) in sera of both patient groups compared to control.

 Morphological description and histological structure of the liver have been studied in Durra bird Melopsittacus undulatus. The liver is a bilobed organ , the left lobe with three secondary lobes and slightly larger than the right lobe which is elliptical in shape. Liver is surrounded by a capsule that consists of thin layer of connective tissue with no distinction between interlobular septa . The parenchyma tissue consists of hepatic cells arranged with thickness 2_1 cell. Portal area appears within the liver parenchyma tissue composed of hepatic artery, portal vein and bile duct and supported by connective tissue. A gallbladder was not noticed in this species.
