Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a multifactorial chronic systemic autoimmune disease. It is characterized by a lack of immune tolerance to autoantigens such as nuclear antigens. The aim of the study is to assess the interferon-alpha (IFN-α) serum level in Iraqi patients with SLE and determine its potential relation to different clinical and laboratory parameters and disease activity. 100 SLE patients were all females and with a mean of age 31.3 ± 10 years (16-63years) and disease duration of 5.8 ± 3.7years (1 month to 15 years). The most significant complication of diabetes is bone disorders which contributes to high levels of bone disability. This study included 118 diabetic patients, 56 males, 62 females, and 60 healthy non-diabetic controls, 30 males, 30 females. The patients and controls were age matched.    In this study, titanium dioxide (TiO₂ (are synthesized by sol– gel simple method. Thin films of sol, gel, and sol- gel on relatively flat glass substrates are applied with Spin coating technique with multilayers. The optical and morphological properties (studied using AFM) of TiO₂ layers show good properties, with particles diameters less than 4 nm for all prepared samples and have maximum length 62 nm for TiO₂ gel thin films of three layers. The results show low roughness values for all films especially for 4 layers sol (8.37nm), which improve the application in dye sensitive solar cell (DSSc)         .
