Abstract
The current research aims to identify mental health and its role in promoting self-confidence and positive behavior of female university students. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach in this research. The researcher depended on the availability of sources and references, literature, and previous field studies to analyze and study all aspects related to mental health and its role in promoting self-confidence and positive behavior of university students and then expand its importance and identify the areas of mental health, self-confidence, positive behavior, and university. The second chapter included the concept of mental health, the importance of the study, the most important factors of health and psychological factors of deterioration and manifestations of mental health, the methods of strengthening, and the relationship of mental health with some positive factors of the personality that develops positive behavior. The third chapter included the presentation and clarification of the concept, importance of self-confidence and reasons of weakness and misconceptions about the role of education in strengthening, the role of mental health in promoting self-confidence, the development of positive behavior, and methods of development in accordance with the principles of Islamic law, the relationship of psychological theories of self-confidence and positive behavior. Finally, the researcher came out with a set of recommendations.

The researcher made aquestionnaire consisting ofone open question for (50) female students of education college for women\ Baghdad university to mention main leadership abilities with leader student.

The current study aims to identify the introspective awareness of the study sample, as well as to identify the introspective awareness of the study sample in terms of gender. The researcher adopted the viewpoint of Mehling (2002) as a theoretical framework for Introspective awareness. A sample of (239) male students and (331) female students were chosen randomly from two universities (Baghdad University and Al- Mustansiriyah University). The research aims to identify the effectiveness of violence by parents in the consolidation of positive values among students. Additionally, the research aims to identify the differences in violence levels among students regarding their gender (males & females). The study was limited to the intermediate school students in Baghdad city / Karkh2 for the academic year 2017-2018. The results showed that males are more violent than females do and that discrimination led to experience violence more than other methods.
