CuInSe2 (CIS)thin films have been prepared by use vacuum thermal evaporation technique, of 750 nm thickness, with rate of deposition 1.8±0.1 nm/sec on glass substrate at room temperature and pressure (10-5) mbar. Heat treatment has been carried out in the range (400-600) K for all samples. The optical properties of the CIS thin films are been studied such as (absorption coefficient, refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary dielectric constant)by determined using Measurement absorption and transmission spectra. Results showed that through the optical constants we can made to control it is wide applications as an optoelectronic devices and photovoltaic applications.

Aim of the research is the study of improving the performance of the thermal station south Baghdad and the main reasons for reduced its efficiency. South Baghdad power planet comprises (6) steam turbine units and (18) gas turbine units .The gas turbine units are composed of two groups: the first group is made up of gas units (1,2), each of capacity (123) MW. The design efficiency of gas turbine units is 32%. The actual efficiency data of steam units is 18.3% instead of 45% which is the design efficiency.      The aim of this paper is to study the quaternary classical continuous optimal control for a quaternary linear parabolic boundary value problems(QLPBVPs). The existence and uniqueness theorem of the continuous quaternary state vector solution  for the weak form of the QLPBVPs with given quaternary classical continuous control vector (QCCCV)  is stated and proved via the Galerkin Method. In addition, the existence theorem of a quaternary classical continuous optimal control vector governinig by the QLPBVPs is stated and demonstrated. The Fréchet derivative for the cost function is derived. Finally, the necessary conditions for the optimality theorem  of the proposed problem is stated and  demonstrated.

This research presents a new study in reactive distillation by using consecutive reaction: the saponification reaction of diethyl adipate (DA) with sodium hydroxide solution .

The effect of three parameters were studied through a design of experiments applying 2³ factorial design . These parameters were : the mole ratio of DA to NaOH solution (0.1 and 1) , NaOH solution concentration (3 N and 8 N) , and batch time (1.5 hr. and 3.5 hr.) .      In this article, we introduce a two-component generalization for a new generalization type of the short pulse equation was recently found by Hone and his collaborators. The coupled of nonlinear equations is analyzed from the viewpoint of Lie’s method of a continuous group of point transformations. Our results show the symmetries that the system of nonlinear equations can admit, as well as the admitting of the three-dimensional Lie algebra.
