...Show More Authors

The current research aims to identify: 1) the challenges facing blended education from the point of view of teachers of students with disabilities. 2) The challenges facing blended education from the point of view of teachers of students with disabilities according to the gender variable (males-females). 3) The challenges facing blended education from the point of view of teachers of students with disabilities, according to the academic qualifications of graduates

(institute-bachelors-masters). 4) The challenges facing blended education from the point of view of male and female teachers, according to the functional service period with students with disabilities (less than 8 years - from 9 to 15 years - 16 years and above). 5) the challenges facing blended education from the point of view of teachers of students with disabilities, according to geographical location

(city center-districts-villages-rural areas). In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher chose a random sample of male and female teachers teaching students with disabilities, in Baghdad, on its two sides, Karkh / Rusafa for the academic year (2020 - 2021). The research came out with a set of results, there are challenges facing blended education from the point of view of teachers of students with disabilities. There are challenges with a clear difference among female teachers of students with disabilities, which is the highest percentage of teachers. There are challenges according to the academic qualification, as those with diploma qualifications (graduates of institutes) have faced greater challenges in applying the blended learning, unlike those with bachelor’s and master’s qualifications who have overcome some challenges in their answers. There are challenges according to the length of the job service. The answers of teachers with medium and short professional service (less than 8 years and from 9 to 15 years) indicated fewer challenges, unlike their peers with long professional service (16 years and more), who suffer from great challenges. There are challenges according to the geographical location. The answers of male and female teachers from the residents of villages and rural areas in the province of Baghdad indicated that they suffer from greater challenges than the residents of the city center of the province of Baghdad and its suburbs. In light of these results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions

Fundamental Challenges and Management Opportunities in Post Disaster Reconstruction Project
...Show More Authors

The study examines the root causes of delays that the project manager is unable to resolve or how the decision-maker can identify the best opportunities to get over these obstacles by considering the project constraints defined as the project triangle (cost, time, and quality) in post-disaster reconstruction projects to review the real challenges to overcome these obstacles. The methodology relied on the exploratory description and qualitative data examined. 43 valid questionnaires were distributed to qualified experienced engineers. A list of 49 factors causes was collected from previous international and local studies. A Relative Important Index (RII) is adapted to determine the level of importance of each sub-criterion in the fou

Land use change in Baghdad City and assessment of the Jadriyah and Umm Al- Khanazeer Island Important Bird Area (IBA) from 1984 to 2020
...Show More Authors

Land use change, particularly the expansion of urban areas and associated human activities at the expense of natural and semi-natural areas, is a major ecological issue in urban areas around the world. Climate change being a very strong additional driver for changing the temperature and habitat in the cities. This also applies to Baghdad, Iraq, where urbanisation and climate change exerts a major pressure on the natural habitats of the city, and thus may affect the ability of city planners to adapt to future climate change scenarios. Here we present evidence of substantial growth in urban areas, increases in temperature, and degradation of natural vegetation within Baghdad city by using Remote Sensing techniques and an assessment for the

In this paper an estimator of reliability function for the pareto dist. Of the first kind has been derived and then a simulation approach by Monte-Calro method was made to compare the Bayers estimator of reliability function and the maximum likelihood estimator for this function. It has been found that the Bayes. estimator was better than maximum likelihood estimator for all sample sizes using Integral mean square error(IMSE).
