Science Processes Included in the Teacher's Handbook of Middle School Science Experiments
...Show More Authors

The aim of this research is to uncover the science processes included in the teacher’s guide to scientific experiments for science books for grades (first-second) for the intermediate stage, The research sample included all the scientific experiments contained in the teacher’s guide for scientific experiments for the intermediate stage, The researcher used the descriptive and analytical method, and designed an analysis tool, The content of science operations, and verified its validity and consistency, and after using percentages and ranks for statistical treatment, the research reached the following results: The number of practical experiments varies from one class to another in the intermediate stage, where the highest percentage appears in the teacher's guide for scientific experiments for the second grade, with (60) experiments and (57%), and the lowest is the teacher's guide for scientific experiments for the first grade by (46) experiments and by (43%) The most frequent basic science process is the observation process, while the most integrative science process is the experimentation process, and the scientific experiments did not deal with the processes of prediction and control of variables.

...Show More Authors

Objectives. This study was carried out to quantitatively evaluate and compare the sealing ability of Endoflas by using differentobturation techniques. Materials and Methods. After 42 extracted primary maxillary incisors and canines were decoronated, theircanals were instrumented with K files of size ranging from #15 to #50. In accordance with the obturation technique, the sampleswere divided into three experimental groups, namely, group I: endodontic pressure syringe, group II: modified disposable syringe, and group III: reamer technique, and two control groups. Dye extraction method was used for leakage evaluation. Data wereanalyzed using one-way ANOVA and Dunnett’s T3 post hoc tests. The level of significance was set at p<0:05. Results.

The Role of Interleukine-33 in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
...Show More Authors

The inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC) are heterogenous chronic inflammatory disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. The most widely accepted etiopathogenic hypothesis for these disorders suggests an immune mediated process.
Objective: This study was performed to evaluate the role of interleukine-33 in pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease and to correlate their levels with the disease activity and/or severity.
Methods: Fifty five subjects with inflammatory bowel disease (41 ulcerative colitis patients and 14 Crohn’s disease patients) their ages range from 16-65 years and 25 apparently healthy volunteers their ages and sexes were matched with the patients were participated i

The aim of the present study was to investigate the histological structure of the tongue in Mongoose (Herpestes javanicus) and its related to the feeding pattern. Five adult animals were used in this study . The tongues were dissected and fixed in 10% formalin, then prepared by following stages (dehydration, clearing, and embedding). The serial section(5µ) were stained with(H&E) and some special stains. The histological examination showed that the tongue consists of three tunicae (mucosa, submucosa and musclaris) and the lining epithelium of the filiform papillae is composed of keratinized stratified squamous epithelial tissue. The cylindrical papillae are covered with a highly keratinized stratified squamous epithelial tissue, whereas the k

Comparison of the Combining Methods Used In Space Diversity
...Show More Authors

The basic concept of diversity; where two or more inputs at the receiver are used to get uncorrelated signals. The aim of this paper is an attempt to compare some possible combinations of diversity reception and MLSE detection techniques. Various diversity combining techniques can be distinguished: Equal Gain Combining (EGC), Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC), Selection Combining and Selection Switching Combining (SS).The simulation results shows that the MRC give better performance than the other types of combining (about 1 dB compare with EGC and 2.5~3 dB compare with selection and selection switching combining).
