The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of fishbowl strategy as one of the effective learning strategies for intermediate students’ achievement in geography subject. To do this, three classes of second intermediate were chosen from Noor Al-Mustafa School for academic years (2015-2016). Emotional competence, is relatively a new concept, stands for the ability of people to perceive their feelings and emotions, and sharing them with others. It also refers to capability in optimizing these feeling and emotions, and managing them over various situations. Thus, this study aims to examine the efficiency of counseling program in developing an emotional competence among intermediate school students in Baghdad city. The sample included group of female students at intermediate stage. The findings revealed none of experimental and control groups have statistically significant differences in pre-posttests of emotional competence efficiency.

The problem of the current paper is embodied in the weakness of the female students
of the department of the Quran sciences in the college of Education for Women in the
University of Baghdad in the subject of reciting and memorizing the Holy Quran. This is what
the professors and the scientific and educational supervisors stress equally through their visits
to the students applicants during the period of their practical application of teaching in the
schools; especially that the subject is thought for four years during their study in the college.

  The aim of research is to identify the effect of using Waks strategy upon acquiring the psychological concepts and mind habits for students in the college of education. An experimental design with a partial adjustment of two experimental and control groups as well as a posttest were employed. The researcher divided the study sample into two groups: group one consisted of (38) students to represent the experimental group that was taught according to the waks strategy, and group two consisted of (35) students to represent the control group that was taught according to the traditional method. The sample was chosen based on some variables namely (Intelligence, Prior knowledge). The researcher has designed the research tools as th
