Measuring the Historical Concepts of Kindergarten Children

Historical concepts are among the concepts that are difficult to present to the pre-school child except by using modern techniques, as well as the difficulty of making visits to all historical monuments and going back to antiquity and the lack of studies in this area, therefore, we need an attractive medium that children love which is able to convey some abstract concepts that are difficult to teach to children using traditional methods, and among these activities that the kindergarten provides to children are the stories through which they develop their linguistic wealth, consolidate their religious and spiritual inclinations, refine their correct morals, and form their proper attitudes, knowledge and life concepts.

The aim of the current research is to define:

1- Historical concepts of kindergarten children, which are achieved through the following hypothesis:

- There is no statistically significant difference between the average of marks of children on the historical concepts test and the hypothetical average. The current research is specified the children in government kindergartens in Wasit Governorate (Al-Aziziyah District) for ages (5-6) years old for both genders. Therefore, the children were randomly selected from Al Buruj kindergarten, which numbered 100 children, boys and girls, in order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher presented the 16 items of the historical concepts test in their initial form to a group of experts in educational and psychological sciences, and then the apparent validity of the items was extracted using the chi-square equation (Ka2), thus the number of test items reached (14) items, after conducting the statistical analysis, two items fell in the discrimination test, and the measure became (12) items in its final form.

     The research found that kindergarten children suffer from weakness in historical concepts, and based on these results, the researcher reached a number of appropriate recommendations and suggestions.

The Vocational Self of Educational Counselors

The current research aims to identify the Vocational Self of the educational counselors as well as to identify the significant difference in the professional self according to the gender variable (male-female). The researcher adopted the scale of al-hasani (2015), which consisted of (34) items. It was applied to a sample of (300) school counselors (male-female) who were randomly selected from the six directorates in the Baghdad governorate for the academic year 2020/2021. The results showed that the research sample of educational counselors has a vocational self-concept. There are no statistically significant differences in the vocational self-concept between males and females among the educational counselors.

The vigilant personality of University teachers

This research aims to identify the vigilant personality of University teachers in term of gender. To this end, the researcher used the scale of Al-tememe (2017) for the vigilant personality, the scale was administered to the sample of the study which was (100) male and female teachers. The results have shown that university teachers generally have a vigilant personality, as well as the result showed a difference between male and female teachers on the level of vigilant personality in favor of males. Children who have a health problem need special requirements for their clothes. The purpose of the study is to design functional and aesthetic clothes to meet their needs. The research used the applied descriptive approach. The research sample comprised 120 women whose children suffered from hip dislocation. Designs for injured children presented and submitted to the arbitrators for evaluation regarding the functional and aesthetic aspects. The finding was achieving the design solutions.
