The Effectiveness of a Training Program for the Development of Moral Intelligence among Preparatory Students
...Show More Authors

This current research aims to identify the effectiveness of a training program in developing moral intelligence and mutual social confidence among middle school students. The researcher made a number of hypotheses for this purpose to achieve the goal of the research.

The researcher relied on the (Al Zawaida 2011) scale prepared according to Coles (1997), including (60) items, and the mutual social trust scale for (Nazmi 2001) based on Roter's theory including (38) items.

The psychometric properties of each of them were verified, and a sample of female students (Al Huda Secondary) were selected, the number of its students were (60). They were randomly distributed to two groups, one of them is experimental and the other is a regulated. The equivalence process was conducted for the two research groups in terms of (time age, level of intelligence, Academic achievement for the Parents), and the training program was applied.

After the completion of data collection to test the differences between the experimental group for the pre-test and the post-test,

  1. the results of the study revealed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the average performance of the members of the experimental group in the pre-test and the average performance of the members of the experimental group in the post-test on the scale (mutual social trust) scale, i.e. in favor of the post test.
  2. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the average performance of the pre-test in the control group and the post-test for the same group (control) for the development of mutual social confidence.
  3. The results also revealed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the average performance of the members of the experimental group in the post-test. and the average performance of the members of the control group in the post-test, on, the measure of mutual social confidence, and in favor of the experimental group.
  4. the results showed statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre-test for the experimental group and the mean of the deferred test scoresin favor of the back- test in mutual social confidence after the lapse of (16) days.

In the light of the results of the current research, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and proposals that expand the research ranges for subsequent research.

Analysis of Follicular Fluid Fatty Acids in Iraqi Women Undergoing Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection
...Show More Authors

Background: Oocytes are susceptible to alterations in the various fatty acid contents of follicular fluid (FF), which may influence maturation and embryogenesis. Different fatty acids exert various effects on intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), which needs further studies to uncover the involved mechanisms. Objectives: To assess FF fatty acids in women undergoing ICSI and to correlate them with ICSI parameters, namely the total count of aspirated oocytes, oocyte maturation rate, fertilization rate and percentage of good-quality embryos. Methods: Fifty women undergoing ICSI were enrolled in this cross-sectional study. FF samples were collected during oocyte retrieval and were analyzed for fatty acids using gas chromatography. Fa

Experimental Evaluation of PV Panel Efficiency Using Evaporative Cooling Integrated with Water Spraying
...Show More Authors

In this work, an inventive photovoltaic evaporative cooling (PV/EC) hybrid system was constructed and experimentally investigated. The PV/EC hybrid system has the prosperous advantage of producing electrical energy and cooling the PV panel besides providing cooled-humid air. Two cooling techniques were utilized: backside evaporative cooling (case #1) and combined backside evaporative cooling with a front-side water spray technique (case #2). The water spraying on the front side of the PV panel is intermittent to minimize water and power consumption depending on the PV panel temperature. In addition, two pad thicknesses of 5 cm and 10 cm were investigated at three different water flow rates of 1, 2, and 3 lpm. In Case #1,

Intelligent Congestion Control of 5G Traffic in SDN using Dual-Spike Neural Network
...Show More Authors

Software Defined Networking (SDN) with centralized control provides a global view and achieves efficient network resources management. However, using centralized controllers has several limitations related to scalability and performance, especially with the exponential growth of 5G communication. This paper proposes a novel traffic scheduling algorithm to avoid congestion in the control plane. The Packet-In messages received from different 5G devices are classified into two classes: critical and non-critical 5G communication by adopting Dual-Spike Neural Networks (DSNN) classifier and implementing it on a Virtualized Network Function (VNF). Dual spikes identify each class to increase the reliability of the classification

Behaviour of Shear Stress Distribution in Steel Sections Under Static and Dynamic Loads
...Show More Authors

Shear lag is the phenomenon that occurs when a supported slender member undergoes deformation from lateral loading, causing in-plane non-uniform distribution of stresses that results in reducing the member’s minimum strength capacity. This paper investigates the behaviour of shear distribution in steel I-section and box girders when subjected to both static and impact loadings. Three-dimensional finite element analysis models were prepared in Strand7 and validated against experimental results providing a basis for further comparison research into shear lagging effects. A parametric study was conducted comparing the effects of impact loading through certain specified velocities at the midspan of restrained ends. It provided new ins

Spectrophotometric Determination of Clonazepam in Pure and Dosage forms using Charge Transfer Reaction
...Show More Authors

A rapid, sensitive and without extraction spectrophotometric method for determination of clonazepam (CLO) in pure and pharmaceutical dosage forms has been described. The proposed method was simply depended on charge transfer reaction between reduced CLO (n-donor) and metol (N-methyl-p-aminophenol sulfate) as a chromogenic reagent (π- acceptor). The reduced drug, with zinc and concentrated hydrochloric acid, produced a purple colored soluble charge-transfer complex with metol in the presence of sodium metaperiodate in neutral medium, which has been measured at λmax 532 nm. All the variables which affected the developed and the stability of the colored product such as concentration of reagent and oxidant, temperature and time of rea

Histological study of liver in guinea pig Cavia porcellus ( Linnaeus , 1758) in Iraq.
...Show More Authors

The liver is one of the most prominent glands in the digestive system. It crosses vital organs with multiple functions, including the secretion of enzymes, digestion of fats, and secretion of bile. Through histological studies and those interested in them, the tissue structure of the liver is of interest to researchers, and the four samples of Guinea pig Cavia porcellus were taken in this study to know the histological structure and compare it with rodents in particular. and other animals in general. The results of the liver parenchyma were comparable to those of the studied mammals in periods of hepatocytes, Kupffer cells, and sinusoids surrounding the central vein, blood supply, and bile ducts. He did not record differences, eve

Role of Interleukins-8, -17 and -22 in Iraqi postmenopausal women with Osteoporosis
...Show More Authors

Osteoporosis (OP) is a systemic skeletal disease characterized by low bone mineral density and deterioration of bone architecture, resulting in bone strength reduction and increased fracture susceptibility. Estrogen deficiency in post-menopausal women is possibly responsible for the instability between bone formation and resorption, which is managed by specific osteoclastogenic cytokines that may be leading to resorption. This study aims to estimation of the concentrations of interleukins −8, −17, −22, beside to certain parameters in blood serum and explained their roles in the development of osteoporosis pathogenicity in postmenopausal women. Materials and Methods A case-control study included 108 Iraqi postmenopausal women participa
