Background/Aim: Understanding how perinatal outcome variations affect dentition eruption can lead to healthcare providers monitoring and managing dental health in infants and children. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of gestational age, mode of delivery and birth weight on the stage of primary dentition eruption in children. Methods: A sample of 304 children aged 6-24 months from Baghdad City was studied. Information about gestational age, delivery method (vaginal vs Caesarean) and birth weight were evaluated through a parent-answered sheet. The world is currently challenging the serious effects of the pandemic of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Data on pediatric COVID are rare and scattered in the literature. In this article, we presented the updated knowledge on the pediatric COVID-19 from different aspects. The study aimed to find out the degree of practicing Arabic language teachers in the preparatory stage of higher-order thinking skills from their point of view in the first, second and third Baghdad Rusafa directorates of education. The descriptive survey method was used. The research aimed at designing teaching sessions using the self-scheduling strategy with a competitive style in learning handball as well as identifying differences between pre and post tests in both groups in learning short and long passes in handball. The researchers used the experimental method on 2nd-grade secondary school students. The researchers concluded using the self-scheduling strategy due to its positive effect on learning short and long handball passes in handball.
