...Show More Authors

The current research seeks to identify mono-multi Vision and its relation to the psychological rebellion and personality traits of university students. To achieve this aim, the researcher has followed all the procedures of the descriptive correlational approach, as it is the closest approach to the objectives of the current research. The researcher has determined his research community for Baghdad University students for the academic year 2019-2020. As for the research sample, it was chosen by the random stratified method with a sample of (500) male and female students. In order to collect data from the research sample, the researcher adopted a mono-multi-dimensional scale

(Othman, 2007), the researcher designed a psychological rebellion scale, and adopted the traits scale of eyznik. The researcher reached the following results that University students have a high level of monovision, there are statistically significant differences according to the gender variable in mono-dimension in favor of male students. Then, students have a high level of psychological rebellion; there are statistically significant differences according to the gender variable in psychological rebellion in favor of male students; students have a high level of personality (extroversion). In addition, there are statistically significant differences according to the gender variable in personality traits in favor of male students. Finally, there is variation in thea extent to which independent variables (psychological rebellion and personality traits) contribute to the dependent variable (mono-pluralistic).

Steps were taken to obtain the Kojic acid crystals from local fungal isolation A. flavus WJF81 by separating the fermentation products from the fungus mycelium from the production plant at the centrifuge at a speed of 5000 cycles for 10 minutes. The extraction was followed by ethyl acetate then supernatant concentrate by using rotary evaporator, and dried with heat oven 37ºC. Long, yellowish, pristine acid crystals were obtained that examined the optical microscope with a magnification force of 10x and 40x. The melting point of kojic acid was determined between 152.9-153.5 °C Results of the diagnosis of Kojic acid by applying High pressure liquid chromatography HPLC technique showed that the acid was at one peak, which was close to the

Design and Analysis of New Prosthetic Foot.
...Show More Authors

There is a variety of artificial foot designs variable for use with prosthetic legs . Most of the design can be divided into two classes, articulated and non-articulated feet. one common non-articulated foot is the SACH . The solid ankle cushion heel foot referred to as the SACH foot has a rigid keel .

One key or the key factor in designing a new prosthesis is in the analysis of a patients response .

This view is the most important because if the foot does not provide functional , practical or cosmetically acceptable characteristics the patient will not feel comfortable with the prosthesis , therefore design and manufacturing a new foot is essential, this foot made from polyethylene, its different shape and characte

Individual Mobility and the Sense of “Deadlock”
...Show More Authors

Individual mobility is an outcome of the rapid changes in life; it is revealed in particular literary works within the end of the 19th century. Mobility is clearer in modern time as the individual has become physically freer in his movement. But the individual’s freedom is often conditioned by restrictions. Usually, change stimulates individuals to obtain new structure of feeling; the individual mocks or rages against institutions, or he would comply, suffering rapid personal deterioration as he faces effective stability or institutions. There is a continuous sense of “deadlock.” Sylvia Plath’s novel reflects the depression of an intellectual young woman who fails to find her right path muddled by an inconsistent, confusing

Synthesis and microbiological study of new sulfonamides
...Show More Authors

In contrast to the classical antibacterial sulfa drugs that are unsubstituted or monosubstituted, our newly synthesized analogs were designed to obtain sulfonamide moiety containing disubstituted hetero nitrogen atom. These compounds were formed successfully by chlorosulfonation of acetanilide and the product was treated with different cyclic amines and finally amide hydrolysis was necessary to get agents that were analyzed for IR, UV, CHN, melting points and solubility. At last, we studied their antibacterial activity on certain types of bacteria and we noticed the inactivity due to possible steric factor. Principly, this means these products have no inhibiting action against the used microbes.

The Syntactic and Concurrent Aspects of Emphasizers
...Show More Authors

The reinforcing effect of emphasizers can hardly be denied, hence their importance , hence the justification for writing this paper. As a particular type of adverbials , emphasizers form part of a major syntactic class. This study, thus, introduces the topic by first discussing a grammatical category characterized by being mobile and optional. The paper duly shows the scaling effect of emphasizers, their kinds and the transformational selectional rules that are operative in moving them to the right or left of the VP. It also handles their syntactic role as modifiers, their syntactic features, their occurrence or non- occurrence with negation and imperative and the position they occupy in the sentence. The paper also dwells on the agr
