Widespread use of antihypertensive agents in clinical practice necessitates the knowledge of their pleiotropic effects. At the present time there are no sufficient evidences of positive effect of these medications on bone coming from randomized controlled trials; knowledge of additional effects of those drugs on the bone metabolism will allow doctors to choose optimal treatment of hypertension, taking into account the state of bone tissue. At the same time it will also allow to prevent osteoporosis in patients having osteoporosis risk factors or initial signs of bone loss.

This study aimed at investigating the level of social skills and its relationship with self-regulation among gifted students according to the academic stage and gender. The sample consisted of (417) male and female students at King Abdullah II School for Excellence in Salt, Jordan. Two instruments were used to collect the data; A scale of social skills and a scale of self-regulation. The results revealed that the level of social skills was high among gifted students. In this research, 152 clinical samples were collected from different hospitals in
Baghdad city, 30 isolates of Proteus spp. were identified from urine, wounds and
burns by using different bacteriological and biochemical assays. It was found that 20
(66.6%) samples were identifies as Proteus mirabilis and 10 (33.3%) samples were
Proteus vulgaris. Among the 30 isolates of Proteus spp., 18 isolates (60%) were
isolated from urine samples; 7 (23.3%) isolates from wounds samples and 5 (16.6%)
isolates from burns samples. Out of 20 isolates of P. mirabilis, 13 (65%) isolates

Microbial activity of Ellagic acid when mixed with some types of candy toward Streptococcus mutans microorganism was studied. The main purpose of carrying out this study is to produce a new type of candy that contains Ellagic acid in addition to xylitol instead of sucrose to prevent dental caries.
