The current research aims at extracting the standard characteristics of the emotional balance of the university students according to the response theory. This was accomplished by following accredited scientific steps, to achieve this goal, the researcher followed scientific steps in the procedures of the analysis of the scale. She translated the scale from English to Arabic and then made a reverse translation. it was presented to a committee of experts in English to ensure and verify the validity of the paragraphs logically and prove the face validity of the scale, which consists of (30) paragraphs, it was presented to (6) experts who are specialists in the educational and psychological sciences and in the light of their observations have been modified some, and reformulated some others , and In order to ensure that the measurement instructions and paragraphs were clear in the research sample and to determine the time required for performance, the scale was applied to an exploratory sample of (100) students were randomly selected from the students of the University of Baghdad / Faculty of Education Ibn Al-Haytham (Sports Department) and the students of the Faculty of Education / IbnRushd (Department of History), and showed that the instructions and paragraphs of the scale are clear, . To determine the standard characteristics of the paragraphs and the overall scale, as well as the verification of the model assumptions, the scale was applied to a sample of (500) male and female students from the university / morning classes in the city of Baghdad. The researcher adopted the GGUM model, one of the models of the scouting response theory, and using the statistical program (GGUM-2004). Information pollution is regarded as a big problem facing journalists working in the editing section, whereby journalistic materials face such pollution through their way across the editing pyramid. This research is an attempt to define the concept of journalistic information pollution, and what are the causes and sources of this pollution. The research applied the descriptive research method to achieve its objectives. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The findings indicate that journalists are aware of the existence of information pollution in journalism, and this pollution has its causes and resources.

The present study was conducted to examine toxicological effects of copper sulfate (Cu) in common carp fish (Cyprinus carpio L.). The LC50 (median lethal concentrations) of copper on Cyprinus carpio were 3.64, 3.36, 3.04, 2.65 mg/L respectively. This study aimed to determine the optimal conditions for extracting basil seed gum in addition to determine the chemical components of basil seeds. Additionally, the study aimed to investigate the effect of the mixing ratio of gum to ethanol when deposited on the basis of the gum yield which was1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (v/v) respectively.
