The goal of this study is to investigate the relationship between optimism and life orientation for a subject of female students in the collage of education for women including the first and fourth stage students ,the sample contained (319) students ,(153)of them were a first stagers ,(166) of them were at the fourth stage.

The scale of optimism was built according to a questionnaire pointed to a sample of the students, adding to that reviewing a number of previous scales & studies which was about the same topic.

The research seeks to find the relationship between psychological flow and futuristic thinking among postgraduate students. To this end, the researchers have made up two scales: one scale to measure the psychological flow which consisted of (32) items and the other to measure the futuristic thinking included (39) items which were distributed into three domains. As to collect the required data, the two scales had applied on a sample comprised (200) postgraduate students. The findings revealed that there is a correlation between psychological flow and futuristic thinking. The study aims to identify the common fears of preschool children and their relationship to the approaches to parental treatment in South Al Batinah Governorate from their mother’s point of view. Total of (466) mothers were selected as the study sample. The researcher used the scale of common fear and the scale of parental treatment approaches.
