Four samples of the Se55S20Sb15Sn10 alloy were prepared using the melting point method. Samples B, C and D were irradiated with (6.04×1010, 12.08×1010 and 18.12×1010 (n.cm-2s -1 ) of thermal neutron beam from a neutron source (241Am-9Be) respectively, while sample A was left not irradiated. The surgical treatment of inferior turbinate hypertrophy (ITH) is challenging. Submucosal diathermy (SMD) is a well-known surgical procedure used for the treatment of ITH, microdebrider-assisted rhinoplasty (MAT) is relatively a newer technique used in the management of ITH. To evaluate the effect of MAT on inferior turbinate size and nasal airway patency in patients with bilateral ITH in comparison to SMD. Seventy-one patients presented with nasal obstruction due to bilateral ITH were allocated into two groups, group a (35 patients) were subjected to SMD and 36 patients in group B were subjected to MAT. In this article, we propose a Bayesian Adaptive bridge regression for ordinal model. We developed a new hierarchical model for ordinal regression in the Bayesian adaptive bridge. We consider a fully Bayesian approach that yields a new algorithm with tractable full conditional posteriors. All of the results in real data and simulation application indicate that our method is effective and performs very good compared to other methods. We can also observe that the estimator parameters in our proposed method, compared with other methods, are very close to the true parameter values.

   This study describes the determination of some phenols in four different zones of Tigris river in Iraq including, AL-Krieat, AL-Kadhimiya, AL-Jadiriyah, and AL-Adhamiyah. The  phenolic compounds analyzed were (2,3-dimethylphenol, 4-chlorophenol, 3-nitrophenol and 2,4-dinitrophenol) using reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RPHPLC) with a UV detector on ODS-C18 column(150×4.6 mm I.D) and a mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(30:70)%(v/v) at pH 5.0, and a column temperature at 30C° with 20 µL injection.
