Sustainability indicators in green residential buildings (Jawaher Degla residential complex as an example)
...Show More Authors

The environmental problems that have emerged recently as a result of pressure on the environment due to the increase in population size, especially in urban cities, where this increase was accompanied by the need for housing as well as the need for services and activities. This led to the establishment of many vertical residential buildings represented by residential complexes within the urban fabric of the city of Baghdad. As part of following the methodology of urban dictation policies in empty areas, and to accommodate the largest number of residents as a result of the multiplicity of floors and housing, these buildings must be subject to the standards and requirements of sustainability at the level of their spatial location and their functional performance in addition to their integration with the surrounding urban environment in order to adapt to the local environmental conditions. And to reduce pollution and move towards a healthy life for the population and live better, and achieve environmental sustainability over generations, and encourage modern buildings in the direction of following sustainability mechanisms in the design of residential buildings instead of

traditional construction. And the requirements of sustainability in terms of design and operational efficiency of the building and maintenance in a manner that reduces energy consumption and ensures efficient water consumption and the use of environmentally friendly building materials. In green areas and recreational areas in addition to movement paths to encourage walking and cycling to access activities, taking into account the orientation of buildings in relation to solar radiation and wind, in addition to following the mechanisms of sustainability in the waste collection and recycling process and all of the aforementioned that limits harmful environmental effects and reduces pollution It achieves a healthy life and ensures the well-being of the population. This research focused on the necessity and importance of awareness to move towards green buildings to achieve a sustainable environment that integrates with the urban environment of the city. The results of this study concluded that there is a relationship between the environmental indicators of green residential buildings and their impact on the surrounding urban environment. Buildings that meet the requirements of sustainability will achieve green building standards and provide sustainability at the level of design, operation, and maintenance of the building, and thus the quality of  life for residents over generations .

An Assessment of the Efficacy of Sinus Balloon Technique on Transcrestal Maxillary Sinus Floor Elevation Surgery
...Show More Authors

Background: A minimally invasive antral membrane balloon elevation (MIAMBE) has been introduced to overcome the invasiveness of modified Caldwell-Luc (lateral approach) and the drawbacks of the osteotome (summers' technique) in maxillary sinus floor elevation surgery. Materials and methods: A total of 13 adult Iraqi patients aged 28-55 years, 4 males and 9 females underwent sinus floor elevation surgery via crestal approach by using sinus balloon technique. A panoramic radiograph and (Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT)/or medical CT scan) were obtained before and after surgery. Postoperative gained bone was assessed and the patient reactions including pain, nasal bleeding, and ecchymosis were recorded. The whole follow up period was 1yea

Design and Fabrication of an Electromechanical Tester to Perform Two-dimensional Tensile Testing for Flexible Materials
...Show More Authors

There are many diseases that affect the arteries, especially those related to their elasticity and stiffness, and they can be guessed by estimating and calculating the modulus of elasticity. Hence, the accurate calculation of the elastic modulus leads to an accurate assessment of these diseases, especially in their early stages, which can contribute to the treatment of these diseases early. Most of the calculations used the one-dimensional (1D) modulus of elasticity. From a mechanical point of view, the stresses to which the artery is subjected are not one-dimensional, but three-dimensional. Therefore, estimating at least a two-dimensional (2D) modulus of elasticity will necessarily be more accurate. To the knowledge of researchers, there i

Investigation of an automobile air-conditioner with a liquid-suction heat exchanger using R134a and R1234yf
...Show More Authors

Air-conditioning systems (ACs) are essential in hot and humid climates to ensure acceptable ambient air quality as well as thermal comfort for buildings users. It is essential to improve refrigeration system performance without increasing the effects of global warming potential (GWP) and ozone depletion potential (ODP). The main objective of this study is to evaluate the performance of an air conditioning system that operates with a liquid suction heat exchanger (LSHX) through implementing refrigerants with zero OPD and low GWP (i.e., R134a and R1234yf). Liquid suction heat exchanger (LSHX) was added to an automobile air conditioning system (AACS).When Liquid suction heat exchanger was added to the cycle, primary results indicated t

This reality covers the existing or futuristic additives or  additions, consecutively these changes may have a strong sensation of disorientation as a result of formatic changes in buildings, or in movement paths. And it epitomized the research problem to "the need for knowledge to clarify the impact of intellectual and executive policy in achieving coherence, functional and space organization of the elements of the university urban environment and in the stages of future growth and change,"  the search targeted "to highlight the study of constraction politics on campus Bmqomad

On (ɱ,ɳ)-Strongly Fully Stably Banach Algebra Modules Related to an Ideal of Am ×ɳ
...Show More Authors

The aim of this paper is introducing the concept of (ɱ,ɳ) strong full stability B-Algebra-module related to an ideal. Some properties of (ɱ,ɳ)- strong full stability B-Algebra-module related to an ideal have been studied and another characterizations have been given. The relationship of (ɱ,ɳ) strong full stability B-Algebra-module related to an ideal that states,  a B- -module Ӽ is (ɱ,ɳ)- strong full stability B-Algebra-module related to an ideal  , if and only if  for any two ɱ-element sub-sets and of Ӽɳ, if , for each j = 1, …, ɱ,  i = 1,…, ɳ  and   implies Ạɳ( ) Ạɳ(  have been proved..

The Violation of Religious Human Rights: A sample Analysis of an Offensive Image of Islamic Concept
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this paper is to investigate Religious Human Rights Violations. Religious liberty is essential for everyone, everywhere. Because religion is significant to everyone, everywhere. Humans are religious by nature. Our nature drives us to seek answers to deep questions about ultimate things. We cannot live a fully human life unless we are free to seek those answers and live according to the truths we discover. In this study, the researcher used Marsh and White model for analysis A sample of an offensive image of an Islamic concept from the book "Mohammad believes it or else." this book is a comic book written by pseudonym Abdullah Aziz and published by Crescent Moon Publishing company. The book is marked with anti- Mohammad, preju

Proxy-based sliding mode vibration control with an adaptive approximation compensator for euler-bernoulli smart beams
...Show More Authors

Proxy-based sliding mode control PSMC is an improved version of PID control that combines the features of PID and sliding mode control SMC with continuously dynamic behaviour. However, the stability of the control architecture maybe not well addressed. Consequently, this work is focused on modification of the original version of the proxy-based sliding mode control PSMC by adding an adaptive approximation compensator AAC term for vibration control of an Euler-Bernoulli beam. The role of the AAC term is to compensate for unmodelled dynamics and make the stability proof more easily. The stability of the proposed control algorithm is systematically proved using Lyapunov theory. Multi-modal equation of motion is derived using the Galerkin metho

Using an Analytical Model to Predict Collapse Volume During Drilling: A Case Study from Southern Iraq
...Show More Authors

Zubair Formation is one of the richest petroleum systems in Southern Iraq. This formation is composed mainly of sandstones interbedded with shale sequences, with minor streaks of limestone and siltstone. Borehole collapse is one of the most critical challenges that continuously appear in drilling and production operations. Problems associated with borehole collapse, such as tight hole while tripping, stuck pipe and logging tools, hole enlargement, poor log quality, and poor primary cement jobs, are the cause of the majority of the nonproductive time (NPT) in the Zubair reservoir developments. Several studies released models predicting the onset of borehole collapse and the amount of enlargement of the wellbore cross-section. However, assump
