The impact of infrastructure planning of complete street elements on the urban environment
...Show More Authors

In contemporary cities, the expansion of the use of vehicles has led to the deterioration of the urban environment. To counter this, many concepts and strategies emerged that attempted to regulate mobility in cities and limit its effects. The concept of a "complete street" is one of the modern trends concerned with diversifying means of transportation and reducing the disadvantages of mechanical transportation methods This paper discusses the role that complete streets can play in developing the urban environment in the Alyarmok District of Baghdad, which suffers from traffic congestion and its associated problems. In this study, 104 people were surveyed in the Alyarmok region, and the linear regression method was used to analyze their opinions in order to find the relationship between the urban environment and the complete street elements.                     This paper concluded that the implementation of a complete street strategy in the study area will lead to the development of urban environments. Whereas 96% of street users believe that the  lack of lanes for the elderly and people with special

needs reduces the use of active transportation. And that 75% of the sample answered The lack of multiple modes of transportation in the study area makes them dependent on private cars for transportation. And 42% of the street users answered that implementing lanes for people with special needs would encourage them to use active transportation. Also, 32% of the respondents would prefer to implement corridors with multiple modes of transport, which would make them use active transport more than before.

Schiff base (methyl 6-(2- (4-hydroxyphenyl) -2- (1-phenyl ethyl ideneamino) acetamido) -3, 3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.2.0] heptane-2-carboxylate)Co(II), Ni(II), Cu (II), Zn (II), and Hg(II)] ions were employed to make certain complexes. Metal analysis M percent, elemental chemical analysis (C.H.N.S), and other standard physico-chemical methods were used. Magnetic susceptibility, conductometric measurements, FT-IR and UV-visible Spectra were used to identified. Theoretical treatment of the generated complexes in the gas phase was performed using the (hyperchem-8.07) program for molecular mechanics and semi-empirical computations. The (PM3) approach was used to determine the heat of formation (ΔH˚f), binding energy (ΔEb), an

Innovative various Schiff bases and their Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) and Hg(II)  compounds made by the condensation of 4-amino antipyrine with derived aminobenzoic acid (2-aminobenzoic acid, 3-aminobenzoic acid, and 4-aminobenzoic acid ) have been prepared by conventional approaches. These complexes were described by magnetic sensibility analysis, FT-IR spectra, and molar-conductance and elemental analysis. Analytical values appeared which the mixed-ligand complexes presented ratio about 2:1 (ligand: metal) with the chelation 4 or 6. The prepared compounds offered a good effect on the organisms; bacteria Staphylococcus-aurous, Escherichia-coli and fungi C. albicans, A. niger. Also, the biological products signalize which the mixed compl

User-Oriented Preference Toward a Recommender System
...Show More Authors

Nowadays, it is convenient for us to use a search engine to get our needed information. But sometimes it will misunderstand the information because of the different media reports. The Recommender System (RS) is popular to use for every business since it can provide information for users that will attract more revenues for companies. But also, sometimes the system will recommend unneeded information for users. Because of this, this paper provided an architecture of a recommender system that could base on user-oriented preference. This system is called UOP-RS. To make the UOP-RS significantly, this paper focused on movie theatre information and collect the movie database from the IMDb website that provides informatio

Data Mining Techniques for Iraqi Biochemical Dataset Analysis
...Show More Authors

This research aims to analyze and simulate biochemical real test data for uncovering the relationships among the tests, and how each of them impacts others. The data were acquired from Iraqi private biochemical laboratory. However, these data have many dimensions with a high rate of null values, and big patient numbers. Then, several experiments have been applied on these data beginning with unsupervised techniques such as hierarchical clustering, and k-means, but the results were not clear. Then the preprocessing step performed, to make the dataset analyzable by supervised techniques such as Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), Classification And Regression Tree (CART), Logistic Regression (LR), K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN), Naïve Bays (NB

Anti-Disturbance Compensator Design for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
...Show More Authors

In this paper, an Anti-Disturbance Compensator is suggested for the stabilization of a 6-DoF quadrotor Unmanned Aerial vehicle (UAV) system, namely, the Improved Active Disturbance Rejection Control (IADRC). The proposed Control Scheme rejects the disturbances subjected to this system and eliminates the effect of the uncertainties that the quadrotor system exhibits. The complete nonlinear mathematical model of the 6-DoF quadrotor UAV system has been used to design the four ADRCs units for the attitude and altitude stabilization. Stability analysis has been demonstrated for the Linear Extended State Observer (LESO) of each IADRC unit and the overall closed-loop system using Hurwitz stability criterion. A minimization to a
