The study aims to identify the impact of competency-based training in its dimensions (skills, cognitive abilities, attitudes, and attitudes) in improving the performance of employees (achievement, strategic thinking and problem solving) in Jordanian university hospitals.

The study based on analytical descriptive method. The study population consisted of the Jordanian University Hospitals, the University Hospital of Jordan and the King Abdullah Hospital, as applied study case. An attempt was made to determine the insect parasites of cockroaches in Iraq. As a result of this survey three species of Hymenoptera representing two separate families, which have been reared from ootheca of cockroaches were recovered. These were: Evania dimidiata Fabricius, Evania appendigaster (Linnaeus) (Evaniidae) and Anastatus longicornis sp. n. (Eupelmidae) which described here as a new species from Iraq.

Microbiological quality (total plate count, yeast and molds, coliform, and E. coli) of wheat cultivated in seven provinces of Iraqi were determined and compared to  Standard Quality of Iraq (IQS) and to the standardization of Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This study was conducted from February 2010 to December 2010. Water Samples were collected every two months in three stations in Baghdad city. The study involved the assessment of concentrations of some heavy metals such as: Chromium, Cadmium, Copper, Iron, Lead, Manganese, Nickel and Zinc. the values of chromium were undetected for the entire of the study, while the rest of the heavy metal were ranged between 0.001 -0.438 mg / l, ND -0.077 mg / L, ND -0.778 mg / l, 0.36 - 0.011 mg / l, 0.011-0 .08mg/ l, ND - 0.1985 mg / l, ND -0.0416 mg / l, respectively. Background: Lumbar spinal canal stenosis (LSCS) is a disorder that causes neurologic deficit, pain and disability. It is common in the elderly, and increasingly encountered as the population ages. Because other causes of back pain are common and difficult to prove, it is possible that mechanical backache, in conjunction with coincident neuropathy or other unrelated leg complaint, might lead to inappropriate treatment including surgery. Thus, accurate diagnosis of the clinical syndrome of spinal stenosis using paraspinal mapping technique may be of critical importance.
