The aim of the present work is to synthesis of new 9-ethyl carbazole derivatives .The 3-acetyl-9-ethyl carbazole was achieved by the reaction of compound (1) with acetyl chloride in the presence of aluminum chloride to give compound (2). Reaction of compound (2) with a ppropriate aromatic aldehyde yielded 3-(3-Phenyl -1-Oxy propen-1-yl)9-Ethyl carbazole(3a-3h).The reaction of (3) with hydrazine hydrate gave 3-(5-aryl-4, 5-Dihydro-3-pyrozolyl)9-Ethyl carbazole(4a-4h). This work comprised the synthesis of new phenoxathiin derivatives containing heterocyclic moieties. These heterocyclic compounds were synthesized in three groups. A new technique for embedding image data into another BMP image data is presented. The image data to be embedded is referred to as signature image, while the image into which the signature image is embedded is referred as host image. The host and the signature images are first partitioned into 8x8 blocks, discrete cosine transformed “DCT”, only significant coefficients are retained, the retained coefficients then inserted in the transformed block in a forward and backward zigzag scan direction. The result then inversely transformed and presented as a BMP image file. The peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) is exploited to evaluate the objective visual quality of the host image compared with the original image.

Many of the elementary transformations of determinants which are used in their evaluation and in the solution of linear equations may by expressed in the notation of matrices. In this paper, some new interesting formulas of special matrices are introduced and proved that the determinants of these special matrices have the values zero. All formulation has been coded in MATLAB 7.

A new, simple, accurate, fast and sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the analysis of amiloride in pure and pharmaceutical formulations by continuous flow injection analysis. The method was based on the oxidation of the drug with Ce(IV)sulfate in acidic medium to formed a pinkish-red color species which determined using homemade Ayah 3SBGR x3-3D solar cell flow injection photometer. Optimum conditions were obtained using a high intensity green light emitted diode as a source. The linear dynamic range for the instrument response versus amiloride concentration was 0.0005- 10 mmol.L-1 while the L.O.D was of 9.471 ng / sample. From 124 women in different stage of pregnancy ,there were 83 (67%) conceded
anemic and 41(33%) were non anemic ,there were 54(65%) suffering from iron
