The research deals with one of the urban problems facing cities, namely the existence of neglected urban spaces that need to be activated , These spaces give a negative image of the city, is not conducive to life and social interactions or the city has a one distinctive urban experience, leading to a reduction peoples' confidence in revisiting of those areas, hinder the rest of the activities in that region . Because these spaces are of the basic components of the city and give it its identity through the elements and entities that constitute it , The idea of research emerged in the reclaiming of these spaces within contemporary urban trends and the activation of flexible , short-term and inovation for that purpose within the fabric of the city. The creation and characterisation of biodegradable blend films based on chitosan and polyvinyl alcohol for application in a range of packaging is described. The compatibility between the chitosan and PVA polymers was good. Composite films had a compact and homogeneous structure, according to the morphology analysis. The mechanical test result of PVA/CH at concentrations 5% showed, that The higher values of TS recorded in sample (p1, with 40 MPa) while the lower values appeared in sample (p9, with 22.09 MPa), the TS decreased gradually as the amount of PVA increased in blend film. ... Show MoreThe present study was performed to evaluate the anti-fungal effect of alcoholic extract of Solanum nigrum (AESn) on the growth of Microsporum canis, the causes agent of ring worm. The results of this work referred to the inhibitory effect of the studied extract on the growth of tested fungi. The percentages of inhibition were (7.88 %, 19.88%, 23.41%, 57.65%), in comparison to the control, when (2%, 4%, 6%,8% ) of tested extract were used, respectively. The data illustrated that the higher concentrations of the extract are applied, the more inhibition of fungal growth is produced.

Background: Recurrent aphthous ulceration (RAU) is an inflammatory condition of unknown etiology characterized by painful recurrent (single or multiple) ulcerations of the oral mucosa. It is one of the most common and poorly understood mucosal disorders. It occurs more frequently in times of stress.
