Showing the considered interest in the methods of appealing penal judgments

The methods of appealing penal judgments are: it is the permission established for the parties to the case to show the defects of the ruling issued in it, and the request to the competent court to cancel it or amend it in a way that removes from its defects. Penal legislation differed in the possibility of appealing penal judgments; The Iraqi penal legislator has taken a different path in the methods of appealing penal judgments other than the path taken by most comparative penal legislation. After the advent of the Code of Criminal Procedure No. 23 of (1971), and based on the provisions relating to the methods of appeal in the aforementioned law, we find that It is distinguished from the comparative legislation by the following:

First: to cancel the appeal; As one of the regular methods of appeal in penal judgments.

Second: Adoption of a new path that has not been decided by comparative legislation, which is the appeal to correct the discriminatory decision.

The conclusion, then, is: The methods of appealing penal judgments in Iraqi law are: the normal methods of objecting to the judgment in absentia, and the unusual methods of discrimination, correction of the discriminatory decision, retrial. On the other hand, we find that the Egyptian criminal legislator divided the methods of appealing penal judgments into normal ways.

Others are unusual, and it goes without saying that the appellant must be a litigant in the case, and he has an interest in filing the appeal.

The Effect of Bone Density Measured by Cone Beam Computed Tomography and Implant Dimensions on the Stability of Dental Implants

Abstract: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of bone density value in Hounsfield unit derived from cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), and implant dimensions in relation to implant stability parameters namely the resonance frequency analysis and the insertion torque (IT) value. It included 24 patients who received 42 dental implants (DI). The bone density of the planned implant site was preoperatively measured using cone beam computed tomography. The implant stability was measured using Osstell implant stability quotient (ISQ). The ISQ values were recorded immediately postoperatively and after 16 weeks. The IT value was categorized as 35 N/cm or > 35 N/cm. The mean (standard deviation) primary stability was 79.58 (5.27) ISQ,

Experimental Study the Effect of Tool Design on the Mechanical Properties of Bobbin Friction Stir Welded 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy

Bobbin friction stir welding (BFSW) is a variant of the conventional friction stir welding (CFSW); it can weld the upper and lower surface of the work-piece in the same pass. This technique involves the bonding of materials without melting. In this work, the influence of tool design on the mechanical properties of welding joints of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with 6.25 mm thickness produced by FSW bobbin tools was investigated and the best bobbin tool design was determined. Five different probe shapes (threaded straight cylindrical, straight cylindrical with 3 flat surfaces, straight cylindrical with 4 flat surfaces, threaded straight cylindrical with 3 flat surface and threaded straight cylindrical with 4 flat surfaces) with various dimensio

The Influence of Support Materials on The Photo-Fenton-like Degradation of Azo Dye Using Continuous Nanoparticles Fixed-bed Column

This study used a continuous photo-Fenton-like method to remediate textile effluent containing azo dyes especially direct blue 15 dye (DB15). A Eucalyptus leaf extract was used to create iron/copper nanoparticles supported on bentonite for use as catalysts (E@B-Fe/Cu-NPs). Two fixed-bed configurations were studied and compared. The first one involved mixing granular bentonite with E@B-Fe/Cu-NPs (GB- E@B-Fe/Cu-NPs), and the other examined the mixing of E@B-Fe/Cu-NPs with glass beads (glass beads-E@B-Fe/Cu-NPs) and filled to the fixed-bed column. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), zeta potential, and atomic forces spectroscopy (AFM) techniques were used to characterize the obtained particles (NPs). The effect of flow rate and DB15 concent

Investigating the Influence of Precursor Concentration on the Photodegradation of Methylene Blue using Biosynthesized ZnO from Pometia pinnata Leaf Extracts

The ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized at various precursor concentrations i.e. 0.05, 0.1, and 0.5 M by biosynthesis method based on Pometia pinnata Leaf Extracts. Initial nanoparticle concentration influenced the optical bandgap, shape, and structure of nanoparticles. The photodegradation process was carried out under UV illumination. The efficiency of MB degradation was determined by measuring the decrease in MB concentration and by analyzing the optical absorption at 663 nm recorded by UV-Vis spectroscopy. Results showed that the biosynthesized ZnO nanoparticles exhibited efficient photodegradation of MB, with a maximum degradation rate of 80% after 90 minutes of exposure to UV-C light. The study highlights the potential of Pometia pi
